I really wanted to try and make these ... since I can't get Horlicks , I thought I could use Milo. But when I couldn't find Milo I kinda gave up and just used a plain sugar cookie recipe. Doh. I could've tried drinking cocoa powder. Ah well, will definately try the recipe someday.

These are for our new bookstudy tonight! We've had a change around.

It was much harder to write than I thought! Hope it's understandable ;-)

I arranged these a la Martha Stewart for a "final bookstudy" dinner and I forgot to take them.

Now they are for you to enjoy!

for the new couple in our bookstudy group

Today was just as most others, I woke up late in the day, contemplated going to the beach but it was to cold, got my coffee and grabbed my meeting books and sat down at the table and drank my breakfast (coffee!) with my daily breakfast partner, Mr Pig. We've become good friends over the past week.

I went over my study for tonight's meeting, flickr-ed, tried to find some edible food in the house, and chilled with my mom.

I once again had to help dad clean out mum's wound...It still grosses me out to see the inside of my mother stomach. I wonder why?

I got ready for the meeting and had to figure out what to wear, I realized I didn't really pack as much as I should have. Never mind the fact that everything is covered in cat hair due to the fact the Ophelia has claimed my suitcase as her new home.

The meeting was entertaining, dad was asked to read the scriptures for the oral review and after the bookstudy ended dad automatically went to walk up on the stage and the brother conducting had to remind him that we still had to do the bible reading before the oral review. Dad just shrugged and walked off the stage, I giggled. :)

I chit chatted with everyone and answered the same question about how my mom was doing at least 20 times. She's home, her wound is still open, and we are not accepting visitors just yet unless they would like to get a staff infection. *sigh*

Now I am enjoying 30 Items or Less with my mom. That show cracks me up!

I should go to bed sometime soon, I have to get up before 9 tomorrow. ha!

ohh so sticky sweet and cinnamon-y.

I had been craving something with cinnamon for a while now so I made these to take to our annual winter bookstudy nabe (hotpot) party tonight =)

She will sit for ages by herself looking at books but she likes to have them read to her as well.
