‘ForWordPlay: Experiential Learning of a Foreign Language via Interactive Play’ is a 150 page record of my MFA thesis. The thesis examines the role of new media as a suitable medium for playful, participatory learning of a foreign language through user-controlled interactive video and dynamic typography.

The typeface in use is modeled on the ‘Tiemann-Antiqua’, designed by Walter Tiemann himself from 1923–25.
The Walter Tiemann Prize exhibition has been organized by Prof. Markus Dreßen.
