The book contains short stories, poems and essays by some of Lounsberry's closest friends and most distinguished colleagues. Lounsberry's connection to the midwest is not only referenced in the title of the book, Notes From The Flyover, it is also the central theme of the book's contributed writings.

I'm currently working on designing/typesetting the German edition of Arthur Krasilnikoff's originally Danish novel «Hvalens øje» (~«The eye of the whale») for the Swiss publisher Verlag Martin Wallimann, which will be out in May.

I'm finding that Legato and Patria (two of my favorite fonts) are not an easy combination to pull off, but a very rewarding one. Once it clicks together, it's amazing. I'm really enjoying the micro-balancing.

all the images came from 19 original definitions that i picked out for stem. the book started off by explaining these definitions, followed by all of the images/compositions organized by which definitions they came from / where associated from.

The year is 1925. The Jazz Age is booming in eastern Florida, and at the center of it is Josie Hudson -- the only child of the most prominent business man in the area. But with her life of total privilege comes a price, her father has been pressuring her to marry one of his most promising young executives, but Josie has dreams. Dreams which suddenly seem more attainable when the handsome and exciting Leo Malcolm reappears into society.

Guinness World Records is one of the most famous brands and books in the world (and the world’s best-selling copyright book.) We created a cool, funky new look for the 2009 edition. The concept is urban/skateboard graffiti and we used bold colours to brighten up the pages. It's such a treat to be able to work with so many fantastic images.

"That rare combination of creative, flexible, considerate and timely. They are a joy to work with, free from the preciousness that often comes with such artists. Their work has been the talk of the book trade..." Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief

Discover long lost treasures such as the Firestone Factory and marvel at modern –day masterpieces like the London Aquatics centre; delight in previously vilified social housing projects such as the Balfron Tower, and discover the drama behind bold, eccentric designs like the ‘Cheesegrater’. The city’s skyline can change in an instant; Modern London invites you to sit back and survey the scene so far.

James Joyce's Ulysses set with 48% of the lower half of each letter removed. Amazingly, when we read our eye recognizes the top forms of a character more than the bottom, making the entire book completely readable. The fact that the letters could be set so close together also reduced the page size from a typical edition from 900 pages to 620!
