project for studio -- an image book. after a word was given to each student, we had to come up with visual associations to/from that word, then created hybrids/compositions using these images, each time getting more and more complex.

Varanasi, City of Light - City of Shiva consists of two separate, yet equally compelling sets of images taken during our client's travels through India. The first section of this book, are images of Varanasi, also known as Banaras, or kashi, “the City of Light”, that was founded by Shiva. There are over 2,000 temples and shrines, but it is a city dedicated to Shiva. Varanasi, on the Ganges, the most holiest of rivers, is one of the most sacred pilgrimages for the Hindus. The latter section of this book showcases images of the beautiful and majestic Taj Mahal.
Iphigenia is the daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra, the rulers of Mycenae. She is to be betrothed to the mighty warrior Achilles, but longs to remain a virgin priestess to Artemis. However, at her betrothal feast, news arrives that Helen, her mother's sister and Queen of Sparta, has run away with Paris, Prince of Troy. Agamemnon sees this as the perfect excuse for war.

Often comical and charming and very illuminating, these illustrations and the stories that accompany them tell the story of his life.

The book documents a series of illustrations I made of exhibits from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. all illustrations were made during December 2010 while wondering through the museum.
Sidney Fox is such an amazing lady and writer. I was so thrilled when she approached me to do the cover of Haunted Lily – The Nightmare Ball.

This was a little coffee table book we designed for a friend who just recently celebrated their 50th birthday. Everyone who attended the party combined their favorite photos taken during the event to create this event book as a gift. Now this special occasion can be remembered for years to come.

This is a cover of a poetry book I designed a year ago. My very first one ;)
It contains poems of my grandfather and his friend, written as teenagers.
We published this to honour grandfather's friend who died as twenty-something, murdered by soviets in 1940 in Katyn forest (a movie about that massacre of Polish officers during II WW /by A.Wajda/ is nominated for the Oscars now).
