this is for a good friend of mine going through a very hard time right now...i hope she finds the strength and power inside her to keep going...
We we're playing in the Girl's room, and we put up some Christmas light for the "house" we made. I thought the bokeh was beautiful.
It's summer, it's hot and sunny, and it's time for some bokeh-y shots from the vineyard, where I've been working with my father. Late July 2017.
I swapped lenses with a friend, I got a lovely little tele-zoom gem to play with - Panasonic Lumix G Vario 35–100mm F4–5.6. That's a 70–200mm-equivalent lens, packaged in a tiny package, smaller than my Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 standard lens. One would expect compromised optics, and yeah, sure, it isn't razor-sharp, but for a kit lens this tiny, it is quite acceptable.
Taken with Panasonic GX7 digital camera and Panasonic Lumix G Vario 35–100mm F4–5.6 compact tele-zoom lens.
First submission! Yey!
I was at a red light stop yesterday afternoon on my way home. It was raining. I thought the truck's brake light that was in front of me would make a cool bokeh against the rain on my windshield. And presto!

342/365
This is my first true bokeh dot shot this year. I actually took three for last year's 365 project. I liked the way the dots project out from the centre as well as the colours.
Taken with a Panasonic Lumix TZ8 compact camera. Some post production in Picasa/Photoshop. Any comments greatly appreciated, thank you.
This shot took me ages to compose in camera.
Which means that the only PP on this photo is the colour casts and the texture add!
Thanks for viewing/commenting this work of art xD

Bokeh comes from the Japanese word boke (ボケ), which means "blur" or "haze", or boke-aji, the "blur quality." Bokeh is pronounced BOH-Kə or BOH-kay.
