It's summer, it's sunny, days are long, there are some pink carnation flowers on my balcony, it's the perfect time for some bokeh shots, yay! July 2019.

Happy Mono Bokeh Thursday

Let's raise a glass to bokeh - HNFF!

For Scoutj's inspired FGR pick of Booze 'n' Bokeh. This isn't the first time I've combined the two it has to be said. I found these fab vintage cocktail glasses when we were sorting out my late Grandma's house so I'm raising a glass to her too. Unfortunately I discovered that they've reflected my messy bedroom but didn't have time to reshoot!

Happy Easter too - have a great weekend!

I've just discovered it's day 100 in the PAD year so here's to that too!!!

Canon 5DII + Olympus om 55 f1.2

Bokeh describes the appearance, or "feel," of out-of-focus areas. Bokeh is different from sharpness. Sharpness is what happens at the point of best focus. Bokeh is what happens away from the point of best focus. With the Christmas tree now set up, it was utilized to create bokeh behind the Hershey Kisses - with one in particular standing out from the rest. Happy Holidays!

I got this as a gift a few years ago and always thought it looked like a mug Santa would drink his hot chocolate out of.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Thanks for looking! :)
