Playing with foreground bokeh in this photo. My SOOC approach to "texture." At least I'm entertaining myself. I know, I know. Bogart looks a bit sad here. He really doesn't have to be glum. After all, Bogart's labs came back today. Remember, we switched his food from his renal diet to regular food two weeks ago. Bogart's last creatinine on his renal diet was 1.6, quite normal. Well, the question at hand is whether he would remain in the normal range once back on regular food. Guess what? He didn't just remain in the normal range; his creatinine dropped. Bogart's creatinine today was 1.3. How beautiful is that? No reason to go back on renal food. . . now that's a marvelous reason to smile.
Furthermore, Miss Raven's results are relatively stable. Her last creatinine was 2.4. She's now at 2.5. My vet sees no reason to take her off her BaRF diet at this time. We will recheck her creatinine again in 3 to 6 months, sooner if her health is worsening. I trust this cuddly, purring mass on my lap will be around for quite a long time. Wouldn't that be fabulous. . .

Once again, I will be spending it alone. =|
I don't know exactly what I have done wrong to not ever have anyone to be with.
Oh well. Today is nice. Its very sunny and perfect blue skies.
I don't know what the temperature is though.
I haven't gone outside.
Its just too bad my best friend is a boy,
which means he can't come over when my parents are gone.
Blehhh, lame.
I hope 2009 goes great for everyone !=]
Edit: Its a new year. I did get to have Mat over for a while which was good.
But after he left I felt extremely alone again. =|
Plus I'm getting less and less views on my photos. ughughughugh.

There were a bunch of these puff balls on the hillside above my cousin's cabin on Okanagan Lake. I know they are not from Dandelions, but am not sure what the original flower was. (13-06-06-4202)
Trying to diversify and experiment a bit with new things in photography.

There's no way to describe what you do to me
You just do to me, what you do
And it feels like I've been rescued
I've been set free
I am hyptonized by your destiny
You are magical, lyrical, beautiful
You are...I want you to know baby ...
The beach at Dungeness is the largest shingle peninsula in Europe. It's quite a sight, with lighthouses, wooden cottages and other abandoned buildings dotted across the area. There are also two nuclear power stations. This is a shot of Dungeness A, the older of the two, which ceased generating electricity in December 2006.
Carla, who was attracted to the atomic bokeh, asked me to say HBW!

Explored!
This idea stemmed from Tom's rimlit portrait with his two AB800's awhile back (his Day199) It took me a couple tries to get lined up with the bokeh correctly. (which were streetlamps wayyy off in the distance.)
For the 3rd time this year, It's apparent my dad really doesn't care about my photography. silly me, why do i look to him for approval?
