I'm officially a Võ Thị Sáu - er xD
Haven't posted one of these mindless happy bokeh shots in a long time. Just a noise maker that squeaks when you shake it. Damn annoying but that face is too cute.
There are a few firsts with this shot. First time I shot a macro shot with my Canon 50mm F1.2 (miminum focusing distance is 1 m for crying out loud - this was shot from 30cm). First time I tilted this lens without an adapter. And first time shooting this lens at 75mm focal length thanks to the Sony NEX-5's 1.5x crop sensor.
If only I could cross a Olympus E-P1's control, user interface, ISO control options, in-camera RAW processing, double exposure capability and built in flash into this dumbed down camera. It could have been the perfect compact camera. PERFECT.

This white blossom was in Green Spring Garden, not sure if it's cherry blossom, the color was pure white, the tree was a small and relatively young tree.
A shot of Gordon during a photowalk through Umeå, Sweden. The background is a christmas light decorated glass wall of the local swimming-hall.

There's nothing quite like the excitement of finding Mushrooms growing wild while wandering through the woods taking photos.. and even more so when you find them growing out of trees!
I saw this little beauty while on a walk through some local woods and was delighted to see I didn't just get the gorgeous little funghi but managed to capture some beautiful bokeh too.
For week #2 - 52 in 2015
