Bubble tea is the name for pearl milk tea and other similar tea and juice beverages that originated in tea shops in Taichung, Taiwan during the 1980s. Drink recipes may vary, but most bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit (or fruit syrup) and/or milk. Ice-blended versions of the drinks, similar to slushies, are also available, usually in fruit flavors.

One of the famous categories of bubble teas is "pearl milk tea" (also known as "boba milk tea" in parts of America), which contains small chewy balls made of tapioca starch, called "pearls" in Chinese (also known as "fenyuan 粉圆" or "zhenzhu 珍珠"). Pearls made of tapioca are also available in many places.

Bubble tea began its rise to international recognition, spreading from Taiwan to other East Asian countries. It then migrated to Australia, Canada, Chinatowns throughout the United States, and various college towns along the American West Coast. There are also bubble tea cafes in the UK[1] and Europe.

There are many variants of the drink, depending on the types of tea used and ingredients added. The most popular kinds are "green tea with pearls" (泡沫綠茶), "pearl milk tea" (珍珠奶茶), "pearl green milk tea" (珍珠奶綠), "pearl black tea" (珍珠紅茶) and "pearl green tea" (珍珠綠茶), etc.

This is my dear boyfriend Adrian Winters as Boba Fett. The costume have been partly made by us. I helped him making the chest, back, shoulder and knee armor. I also made the flightsuit and vest and covered his boots.

The rest of the costume have been commissioned to different prop and costume makers:

- Utility belt from Hammerheart44 on eBay.

- Helmet from Atom_kinder on eBay.

- Gloves and neckseal from manofwarstudios on eBay.

- Decals from Bobamaker

- Jetpack from Zak Moussa.

- Gauntlets from Mac Cougar

We also painted all the armor, helmet and jetpack and added some ornaments.

Pictures taken and edited by me ^^

I didn't notice that the last day of picnik was the 19th! Just wanted to do one last picture. I modified the color and brightness just a little.

Normally I'm on the other side of the camera at comic cons, but I decided to visit NYCC with my camera without an outfit one year. As with all Boba Fetts, from Star Wars, this Boba Fett was highly popular. © 2014-Current.

Boba Fett has heard his quarry is nearby. He continues to act as the hunter...but will he become the prey?

Just more expimenting with light painting. This time I used a red, light-up pen and a tiny lantern keychain I bought for 50 cents.

I am going to miss the summer when the kids go back to school...
