On another note, I'm going to give an update on the status of my Ranger Helmet soon that will make alot of people happy. Hang on in there, it's almost here.
This is a little project I've kept under the wraps to make in hype of the new movie ~ I'll be heading out to see the premier in a few minutes. I hope you'll enjoy the movie as much as I'm about to!
This was an extremely fun figure to make since I had some creative freedom with it, as well as a boatload of new sculpting techniques to try out. With a few people releasing some remarkable Jango's and Boba's, I wanted to make my take on it a bit different. This isn't made to be movie or game accurate; it's my own take on the figure with some modifications made.
I sculpted with a LEGO Mando helmet as a base and sculpted everything else from scratch; I also opted to use the LEGO jetpack and put Arealight's rocket on it, as the jetpack has a slimmer profile (and is removable via magnet). The EE-3 is made of a CAC blaster, a BA shotgun stock, an old ID card and some spare bits. I made sure to include the hose extending from his gauntlet. I'd love to know what you guys think, especially from those tagged!
This figure is also made in honor of my late grandfather; he passed in late November and I recalled that Boba was his favorite Star Wars character. May he rest in peace.

I just had to continue where I left off with the previous photo. I think C-3PO needs something to his left side on my stream. This time is not the droid you're normally looking for.
Also, I haven't been in touch with Boba a long long time. It was time to wake him up from the hibernation...
The last shot I did on my old camera... can't really remember taking it to be honest. But its kinda cool... straight out of camera.
The 70s and 80s had the best movie posters. Whether true to the film or not, they made you want to see it. I went into this with the goal of creating something that evoked that feeling, taking graphic design cues from those two decades. It was really fun and challenging, and I'm happy with the result.

Just got this through the post, completely forgot that I'd pre-ordered the book months ago.
Simple shot and set-up.

I was itching to build some more in my Chibi scale, but wanted to try making them smaller, so I came up with Mini-Chibi scale. Here's Boba Fett jamming out on his guitar plugged into a newly-repurposed Han in carbonite. Whatcha think?

After about 4 days of work I finally finished my Boba Fett. I'm extremely satisfied with how he came out, and he's probably one of my favourite figures I ever created. Most of the armour on him is custom scultped, even a part of the helmet has been scultped on to make it look better (The reshaped/filled visor, the back of the helmet). The rifle he has is a modded LittleArmsShop weapon I got from a trade about 2 years ago. The jetpack is simply a repainted blue Arealight Jetpack. I just noticed, the silver drybrush on the armour makes it seem like I messed up on painting the white, if you look at the other image you'll see this isn't the case. The dirt on his legs was also intentional, because if you look at the actual Boba, you'd see he has some dirt on his pants.

First off I wanted to say sorry to both BlueInfrno and The Inner Whale Customs for taking so long to send out/finish your prizes they'll be sent out soon, I promise. Okay onto the figure!
This is definitely one of my favorite Star Wars customs I've had to make and I'm sad to see it go, but hey it's a prize so :P
I sculpted this figure with Greenstuff and Procreate, and painted using Apple Barrel, Premieré, Anita, and Citadel paints. I used alot of paper elements also with this figure. His cape was made with paper and painted with Citadel's Caliban Green. I did a dry brush effect on his helmet and chest piece and I think it turned out pretty well. His gun was made using a heavily modified Brickarms M1911 V2 as I don't have any revolvers, the rifle was made using an Amazon card, Procreate, a toothpick, Lego elements, and staples!
