Spent a day taking some pictures of replica Star Wars outfits at RS PropMasters. A lucky customer took this home straight after the photoshoot :)
Introducing plush Boba Fett! He is a very special commission made especially for Mark Austin, who played Boba Fett in the Special Edition of Star Wars: A New Hope! :)
Mark was an animator at ILM when he was asked to play Boba Fett in the new Mos Eisley docking bay sequence with Han Solo + Jabba The Hutt. He was already a huge Boba Fett fan prior to his role in the film, so having the chance to play his favourite character in the Star Wars legacy was amazing experience for him. I met Mark when we were animators on the movie G-Force at Sony Imageworks. Mark saw photos of my Princess Leia + R2D2 plush for the Stitch Wars plush show and asked me to create a plush based on his favourite Star Wars character. Boba Fett is by far my most detailed and time consuming plush doll to date, but I really enjoyed using image references so I could add lots of little detailed stitching. :)
I hope you like him, Mark! :D

I know this isn't typically what I post. But I thought I'd share my art! It's actually the first Star Wars art I've ever made!
I took these pictures a year ago for framing (they are currently guarding the bathroom) but, for some reason, they never made it as far as Flickr.
I re-discovered them today when I decided to clean up my memory card...

I recently came across some work by an artist named Marko Manev, and he's done some amazing silhouette art-work... so I was inspired to try to do a similar effect.
There was a fair bit of post editing, mainly just masking and blurring to try to make to figure pop out.
just wanna show off Boba's wardrobe. I found this Sindy dresser on the Bay not long ago & repainted it. It was yellow when it came to me & I felt pretty disappointed but it looks so brand new now. Btw, I'm totally happy getting the dresser since it helps me realize that Boba's got pretty enough clothes & I will think twice before buying her some new clothes ^_^
When Lego started his Star Wars Helmets collection, I thought it would be really cool if those helmets could also have a body…
