Para esta semana mi idea era otra, mucho mås compleja, pero, después de hacer la foto no me gustó. Y una vez mås, como otras veces me ha pasado, me convencà de que las fotos mås sencillas funcionan mejor. Asà que me fui con mi madre a dar un paseo y de paso cazar la hora azul y atraparla en un péndulo.
Looking east from the Summit Street Bridge over Interstate 670, the Kansas City Convention Center and the Pylons of Bartle Hall.
The Bartle Hall Pylons are four, approximately 335-foot, concrete and steel columunar structures that support steel cables that suspend Bartle Hall Convention Center above Truman Road and Interstate highway I-670 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The pylons are topped by four sculptures that are part of the city's skyline.
The scuptural elements that crown the Bartle Hall pylons, called "Sky Stations", were designed by artist R.M. Fischer in 1994. Each of the works is made of aluminum and steel, approximately 24-feet by 15-feet in diameter, and 20 to 25-feet in height. They were primarily inspired by the 1930s Art Deco chandelier and decorative design elements throughout Municipal Auditorium, which is adjacent to Bartle Hall.
The "Sky Stations" were placed atop each pillar via helicopter.

I arose at dawn just in time to see the Super Moon going down as the sun was coming up. The clouds in the sky added a bit more interest to the shot.

Enjoyed magical effect of levitation at the hotel bar which offers a sweeping view of Tokyo in the blue hour.
On both sides, glass art illuminated with green light symbolizes a water fall which echoes the sound of silence.
Late in the last month (July 2016), a new hotel opened in the 180-meter-tall Kioi tower on the site of the Akasaka Prince Hotel formerly known as "Akapri" among Japanese business person preferring contraction of words.
Tokyo is constantly replacing the old with the new and the result of renewal is always more than amazing.

Die WillemsbrĂŒcke (niederlĂ€ndisch Willemsbrug) ist neben der Erasmusbrug und der Van Brienenoordbrug eine der drei groĂen BrĂŒcken Rotterdams, die ĂŒber die Nieuwe Maas fĂŒhren.
Es handelt sich um eine auf zwei groĂen Pylonen stehende, 356 Meter lange SchrĂ€gseilbrĂŒcke. Sie verbindet das Zentrum der Stadt mit der Insel Noordereiland.
Lange Zeit galt sie als âGolden Gate Bridge von Rotterdamâ, was sowohl an ihrer roten Farbe lag als auch an der Tatsache, dass sie bis zum Bau der ErasmusbrĂŒcke die letzte BrĂŒcke vor der MĂŒndung war.

Wer ausreichen Mut gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt hat, traut es sich zu, auf dem immer schmaler werdenden Mittelstreifen zu stehen (bzw, in bevorzugter Rafi-Position zu fotografieren ;-), wĂ€hrend links und rechts der Verkehr - je nach Ampelphase - vorbei braust...
FĂŒr alle diejenigen, die genau hingeschaut haben: es bestand Gefahr, dass die BrĂŒcke - zwar langsam, aber doch unaufhaltsam kippt ;-)

Beginning of the Blue Hour. Last shot of the Day. The color rapidly faded from the the clouds and the the reflections lost their fire. Only a feint band of reflected dying sunlight can be seen in the edge of the bottom clouds, giving a blue and maybe magenta cast to the reflections. I did increase my f stop by one and to compensate i doubled my ISO and cut my shutter speed in half.
The night is always peaceful here. Tonight there had been a family fishing down the bank without luck who left earlier and for the last 20 minutes I was my myself with just nature and the waves gently lapping and the sounds of nature. A stress free way to end the day. I needed that today. I hope you enjoyed the changing light story in this series of shots. Isn't photography the best hobby we can have. Being able to be out in nature and create art!
