Good morning dear Flickr friends,
I was a bit late at my "favorite pier march 2020" and so the light was a bit hard but I tried to make the best of it. We are located in Ludwigshafen at the Lake Constance. The weather changed at the weekend and we have storm and cold temperatures of minus 4 degrees again.
I always hear a lot of music, so old and new. This one from Billy Cobham from the year 2001 inspired me to fly: Ozone Part 2. Billy used his drumming pattern in different songs and solos long time before and I was fascinated, when I started with drumming. It took years when I'm younger to copy the master on the drums but one day I got the rhythm pattern of Ozone Part 2. I often heard him at little concerts in Switzerland in the past. So little, that I stood side by side him and his drum set.

The Sturgeon Moon begins to take on a more normal appearance as it reaches ever higher in the night sky over Hotel del Coronado on the San Diego coast.

Saint Michael’s Cathedral of Alba Iulia was built between 1247 and 1291, which makes it contemporary to the famous Notre Dame of Paris. Furthermore, it appears that a great French architect, Villard de Honnecourt, contributed to its design. In addition to being the oldest and the longest cathedral in Romania (at 89.16 m measured along its axis), it is also considered the most important monument of Romanesque architecture in Transylvania.
The site is registered in the National Archaeological Repertory of Romania.

Another one from that stunning sunset the other evening. I was struck by the redness of the setting sun giving the quay buildings a lovely warm glow.
Its been a good week for sunsets. I've been down to my local beach and yesterday I paid a visit to Kimmeridge to give all my long exposure filters an airing.
I'll post more over the weekend!
This image was taken at the blue hour overlooking the Lyngen Alps, a mountain range in northeastern Troms county in Norway, east of the city of Tromso. The mountain range runs through the municipalities of Lyngen, Balsfjord, and Storfjord and follow the western shore of the Lyngen fjord in a north-south direction.
The mountains dominate the Lyngen Peninsula, which is bordered by the Lyngen fjord to the east, and the Ullsfjorden to the west.

Some wild skies with the change in weather........Some very intense odd colors grace sunrise and sunsets in the Hudson valley
Spirals- it should have been quite simple, either or , or so I thought. However I was not quite happy with the man-made spring and the focus on the shell was a little difficult in the fading natural light.
The spring is 1inch long.

This was with my 6 stopper, I was reluctant to try really full on LE as I realised my cable release was faulty just before the shoot.
And to be honest I prefer some water movement at this location. Earlier in the day I walked across this causeway with the tide nowhere to be seen. Thats how extreme they are here.
I realised also that one of my KASE step rings had gone missing and it cost me £25 to buy a new one. Then I found out I won £25 on the premium bonds.
Which was nice!
