The original church of San Fernando was built between 1738 and 1750. It was much smaller than today and followed the more traditional Spanish Colonial style. The walls of that church today form the sanctuary of the cathedral, which gives rise to its claim as the oldest cathedral in Texas, and one of the oldest in the US. The substantial enlargement that gave it the current appearance in pseudo-Gothic style was carried out in 1868 (restated from Wikipedia).

The location of Kanoni with the church of Panagia Vlacherna below is one of the most famous and photographed spot of Corfu. Kanoni is actually a quarter of Corfu Town, just a couple of km from the city centre. It took its name from an old cannon that stands on top of the hill.

Constructed in the 17th century, this lovely chapel has an impressive wooden-carved iconostasis and beautiful frescoes inside.

Took picture in Jakarta Saturday night with some friends.... it's from 41st floor apartment in Casablanca...This is my first to take picture from rooftop and more this is my first shot with my new camera :) Sony a7ii mirrorless.

On a training trip on ski, I experienced a wonderful blue hour. Fortunately, I often take a camera with me - as long as the weather promises to be good and it's not completely dark yet when I start. December and January are known here in the north for their intense blue hours. This is because of the cold weather and the fact that the sun is very low at this time of year here.
