Tulip Tree in full bloom! I showed you one bloom when they first started opening. Now the entire tree is covered.

Interesting that it blooms like this before it ever puts on a single leaf. I guess reproduction is "job one".

... aus unserem Garten. Das Steinkraut blüht gelb, das Blaukissen violett, der Phlox blüht rosa, die Schleifenblume erstrahlt in weiß, und der japanische Fächerahorn rundet das Bild mit dem satten Rot und hellgrün seiner jungen Blätter ab. Frühling ist ein Fest der Farben für die Augen !

... from our garden. The sweet alyssum blossoms yellow, the purple rock cress violet, the phlox blooms pink, the candytuft shines white, and the Japanese fan maple rounds off the picture with the rich red and light green of its young leaves. Spring is a feast of colours for the eyes !

Aylostera Narvaecensis is perhaps one of the most beautiful cactus to own in a cute little pot at home. Perhaps best known for its round shape, white pines and when it flowers with white-pinkish flowers. When it matures it grows in clusters.
