Trying on a couple of choices of dress for my Christmas choir concert at Hull City Hall. I did ask the other members of the choir and we ended up choosing the first of the two dresses for the concert.

A few months ago I spotted a fabulous outfit on the photostream of another trans girl on Flickr, and I liked it so mch I wanted to recreate the look.
It's a bit gothy, so I did my makeup a little more goth too. Crushed velvet red off=the=shoulder dress, arrow patterned tights and red heels.
I loved this look! I've worn it a few times since.

It was so good to be back in Lincoln for a weekend after missing it last year. We love Lincoln, it's such a beautiful city.
Friday was a fairly chilled day. We went for a wander up to the cathedral and - as we always do - along the canal to Brayford Wharf . Then on the evening our plan was to go to a restaurant for a meal then on to a bar somewhere.
We found a nice quirky little restaurant called Crust for dinner but the plans afterwards were scuppered by getting soaked in the rain! We couldn't find a bar that didn't need a prior booking so we headed back - very damp - to the hotel. Still smiling though, of course!
Oops, forgot to post this one yesterday - this one prior to the soaking, obviously! ;-)

Another April evening in purple although a different dress. And a bit of experimentation with new footwear as well.
I do quite like how the boots look with the dress. It was my first time trying them on, and obviously they feel a lot different to wearing my usual sandals so they did feel a bit strange to wear. I only had them on to try and to take a couple of pictures, I soon changed back into my usual.

Thank you so much all of you that have asked me questions. I am working on them. Some great questions in there. It will require a separate video answer to each question as it turns out - there are no simple answers to even the simplest sounding questions - so please don't worry, I will get there although it may take me a bit of time.

I went to meet my lovely friend Meghan for lunch in Goole. We used to do this quite regularly before COVID but this was the first chance we had had since then.

For Leeds Fisrt Friday Gemma and I helped out two first-timers as we love to do. What a brilliant night! Rose and Becky had such a good time - and Becky even came out with us the next night to a non-lgbt club! Amazing, and wonderful to see someone new really taking to being out and about.
Also, I did my second ever karaoke performance at The Bridge, which I absolutely loved! And it turns out there's a little diva buried inside me somewhere - at the end of the song, I got a couple of cheers from the back of the pub, and in response I blew a kiss, LOL! Diva!

I was a bit more experimental this night, taking close-up photos from a few different angles.
It can often be a trigger for dysphoria, seeing yourself in profile or otherwise than you are used to. I know many girls who hate how they look in pictures not taken from the most flattering angles. So this was a conscious attempt to get comfortable with how I look. And I was quite surprised - I don't recoil from or hate any of these close-up pictures.

We had a 5 day break away in Newcastle at Easter! It was fantastic. We always love Newcastle and it certainly didn't disappoint!
