While we were at this spot a group of six or seven people started to gather. They apparently were there for a spiritual blessing of some sort. Not a traditional religion but something New Age! They picked a great spot for it!! Thanks for all of you who have visited and commented! Much appreciated!!
Dear Flickr friends, I will be away for a while. Till then ....

My elder daughter told me days ago that some of her college friends are loyal fans of me, and hope I could pose my pictures more frequently. I am glad to know I have fans here. :))) I promise her I will do my best if I have free time. I am very busy these days and also very sorry to all my dear Flickrs' friends. I will catch up with you all the best I can.
Cattails, Typha latifolia, provide so much. It seems every part of a cattail may be used by nature and humans. Yet, many gardeners find them a pain in the butt if left to their own devices in a pond garden.

for all of our blessings, of course.
I should feel blessed?

I have a confession to make.
what's that?
I hate your guts.
you do?
I should kick your ass right now.
oh.
but not here. I'll wait outside.
you will?
count on it.

The white stork is a migratory bird, which is quite long trips between two continents during the warmer months, migrates from Africa to Europe in order to play, returns to Africa, Europe when temperatures begin to fall . However, there are some individuals who remain throughout the year in European countries with a warmer climate, as is the case of Portugal.
The white stork is an animal associated with myths and legends, all over the world. In most of Europe symbolizes prosperity, happiness and good fortune associated with the arrival of a son. In Asia, it is considered an animal that teaches man the way to a life of holiness.
