The charactor actor was born 108 years ago today...... Although he played in many many roles (often as Sid or Sydney, check out his imdb entry), I have a soft spot for his final sitcom, ITV's Bless this House, in which he played Sid Abbott between 1971 and his death in 1976. I also have a soft spot for his screen wife Jean, played by Diana Coupland although others may prefer thier daughter Sally, played by Sally Geeson, now 71. I hadn't realised that she did no more TV acting after Bless this House, later taking up teaching.

“Morning is the best of all times in the garden. The sun is not yet hot. Sweet vapors rise from the earth. Night dew clings to the soil and makes plants glisten. Birds call to one another. Bees are already at work.”
~William Longgood
Tell me what you honestly think about this? I was not for sure if I wanted to post it or not. The sky looked so amazing that day and I thought that it would be cool to take some photos of the flag with the clouds in the background. This was different from the others I took. The light shined just perfect on the flag.

>>> Bless Mrs. Coffey ! She is #1 teacher in the word to me atleast. I'll Miss her forever<<<
She really misses her teacher. We are on summer break.
Mid afternoon sunrays just happened to highlight this gentleman who was sitting on the footpath of the bridge playing his recorder.
May God bless you, each and every one,
As we remember the coming of His Son.
Christ came in order that He might give
His life as a ransom so that we might live!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Everyone!
Most specially to my flickr ninang Ate Merly! Thank you for your kindness, generosity and for the friendship. I will be forever grateful. :D

She was the nicest woman. She chatted us up and as we walked away she resumed her daily ritual of mediation in the middle of the frozen park, a respite from her home full of life.
ME: “I really like your hat. Do you mind if I take a picture?”
*Awkward pause*

Tczew is a town on the Vistula River in Eastern Pomerania, Kociewie, northern Poland with 60,279 inhabitants. It is an important railway junction with a classification yard dating to the Prussian Eastern Railway. (Wikipedia)
Disappointingly, rather than sounding like a sneeze, Tczew is pronounced something like 'pteff'. (Polish speakers please feel free to correct me !)

Interesting tidbit: In a remarkable series of coincidences, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, two founding fathers of the United States and the only two men who signed the Declaration of Independence to become president, died on the same day: July 4, 1826, which was the United States' 50th anniversary.
