I pass so many farms on rural drives and always admire and respect how truly hard the farmers work. Their labor is our bounty, wonderful fruits and vegetables. They work from sun up to sundown and now more than ever are struggling. We have been in a drought for many years.

A big benefit to living in an area that has four distinct seasons is that each season has something special to offer. Fall in the northeast of America blesses us with its beautiful colors. A look back through some earlier shots found this wonderful sky. Since buying the Sigma 15mm lens, my interest in skies has just blossomed. i now find myself continually looking up to see what the clouds are doing. It's amazing how often these wild skies develop. Bless the weather, is by John Martyn, and is certainly true.

rolls in a napkin, fairy rack of toast,
butter in ice, high silver coffee pot,
and, heaped on a salver, the morning’s post.
she comes over the lawn, the young heiress,
from her early walk in her garden-wood,
feeling that life’s a table set to bless
her delicate desires with all that’s good,
that even the unopened future lies
like a love-letter, full of sweet surprise.

l didn't know it at the time...but the couple you can see ahead took half an hour to get to were l was standing through the ankle deep mud...Generally it would take 3 minutes to get to me from where they were...when they arrived l was astounded to see they were both around 85 years old if a day, and were holding each other hands...Bless...we chatted for a while and they went on their merry way through the woods which was in an even muddier state than from whence they'd come, l gave them a 10 minute start and l followed them just incase one of them took a flyer and they needed help. Bless

Le Caracara huppé ou Caracara à crête (Caracara plancus) est une espèce de rapaces de grande taille de la famille des falconidés, qui réside dans toute l'Amérique du Sud et centrale. On le trouve dans toute l'Amérique du Sud et centrale, depuis la Terre de Feu, dans le parc national Tierra de Fuego et la réserve naturelle de l'île des États, jusque au nord du Mexique.
On retrouve principalement le caracara huppé dans les espaces ouverts, comme les prairies, les collines, les steppes ou les bords des rivières.
