Took the wife shopping and got a nice blazer along with a bunch of things from Agent Provocateur. so the vote is do you like blazer sans bra or with the beaded demi cup bra?

7420: Thunder Blazer
So this is kind of a merging of the Thunder Blazer and Red Eagle Chibi plane sets to make a more coherent aircraft for Johnny to use.
Pretty much most of my aircraft designs have the same base fuselage and wing designs. With tweaks and changes made here and there.
I went with a monoplane design to avoid this being a clone of Sam Sinister's bipane. The red, grey and brown colour scheme I didn't particularly like so I went with the red an black colour scheme of the Red Eagle set. The engine and rotor are slightly different from the Sam Sinister Plane too.

fabric cut out ready to zigzag stitch the edges tomorrow and assemble. pattern details have been transferred using a terracotta thread. the masking tape is on the reverse side of the fabric and will be removed once the blazer is finished
my light shades are yellow and are throwing the colour of this olive green fabric making it look brown

lined olive green lightweight linen blazer with buttons covered in the same fabric finished today. ready for the spring. to be worn over spring/summer dresses
update
since this blazer was finished i have hand sewn the back and front facing onto the lining
the pattern recommended edge stitching the collar and lapel but i didn't. i thought i'd mess it up. i need to do plenty of practise before i make an attempt
the buttonholes aren't great, particularly the top one which i machined first
lesson learnt i wouldn't use the buttonhole attachment again. it's easier to do with a normal presser foot and adjusting the selector, length and width dials. i learnt a lot!
2metres of green linen @ £6 per metre width 1m 50cm
(reduced from £7 per metre)
2 metres of a darker green silky fabric for the lining (not silk)
£2 per metre width 1m 50cm

The unusual things about this one is the small cluster of cloud that lit up like an explosion. With all the myst and fog, my rendering probably wasn't the best choice to show it as it gave a muddy type look around the red cloud area. But it was the rock here at Avoca that has always reminded me of star blazers, the old cartoon of the 80's. It was basically an ocean warship that flew in space.. .....
