tonight was 1st cruise nite of the season at Babes Hot Dogs ...this gorgeous Blazer caught everyone's eye
The Blazer series is a line of solid body electric guitar models under the Ibanez brand, similar in appearance to the Fender Stratocaster. It was introduced in 1980 and offered for three years. The line was revived in 1995 before being ultimately discontinued after 1998.
One of the guitar 'portrait' shots that I took during lockdown.
I bought this back in the 80s. It is solid wood and weighs a ton but has a very fast and smooth neck action. Unfortunately, the pickups are on their way out and have started to crackle quite a bit. I was going to get them repaired or replaced but, instead, Liz bought me a new guitar earlier this year as a wedding anniversary gift. I may post the 'portrait' shot of the new one if there is any interest.
I posted the colour version of the shot because the grain in the guitar body and the background show up better than in the B&W conversion.

Chevrolet K5 Blazer for 1969-1970. The K5 Blazer and GMC Jimmy were introduced for the 1969 Model Year as the First Generation models that continued through the 1972 model year. They were built on a shortened 1/2 Ton truck chassis.
This one appears to have been lowered from its original condition.

This is my 1989 Chevy Blazer. I've had it since it was new and I can't bring myself to get rid of it. So I drive it on weekends and tow the boats with it.

7420: Thunder Blazer
So this is kind of a merging of the Thunder Blazer and Red Eagle Chibi plane sets to make a more coherent aircraft for Johnny to use.
Pretty much most of my aircraft designs have the same base fuselage and wing designs. With tweaks and changes made here and there.
I went with a monoplane design to avoid this being a clone of Sam Sinister's bipane. The red, grey and brown colour scheme I didn't particularly like so I went with the red an black colour scheme of the Red Eagle set. The engine and rotor are slightly different from the Sam Sinister Plane too.
