Took me ages to ID.

Found in abundance on low vegetation in deciduous woodland around a lake.

The other lunch shot. f brought me a bag of camera goodies that day. Included in the haul was a rather clean, working Olympus 35RC. Thank you, f!

We experienced a bit of a trembler last night in Silicon Valley, reportedly 5.6 on the Richter scale. The earthquake lasted ten seconds, but seemed longer. All is well with our families and no damage suffered, but it's just plain scary when these things hit.

It's freezing, but no snow. The trees are covered in frost, and it looks beautiful. The only drawback is that it's freezing cold outside.
