Bit of a story here, the guy in the white shirt has just been in the drink, they were definitely somewhere they shouldn't have been, and as they were trying to return he slipped and went in the sea, which shifted him very quickly 8 to 10 metres, fortunately for him, towards safety, had he caught the swell going out he may not have been found. It was also freezing cold. Strangely enough, they thought it was funny.

This original ink sketch was made in response to the written piece "Full," by Casey Plett, for our collaborative blog Gloriously Awash In Sin, while listening to her read from her McSweeney's column, Balls Out, at 116 MacDougal.
We lost our beloved thoroughbred mare today just 10 days short of her 31st birthday. Kelvy was a direct descendant of Man o’ War. This morning when I went to the barn to feed her she remained stationary in her stall. Her many years had left her weak in her hind end and she was having difficulty walking. It is always hard to make this decision. Joan has cared for her for the last 26 years. It was, sadly, her time and she will be greatly missed by all. Also of great sadness to our family is that as the sun sets tonight, for the first time in 25 years, Bit by Bit farm will have empty stalls. No need to go down at nine o’clock for night hay and a few carrot treats or to rise early for morning hay feeding. An empty barn and an emptiness in our hearts.

There is a small gap in the mountain between one outcrop of rock (known as the Rock) and another small plateau. The bite the devil allegedly took made this gap. The legend also suggests that the devil broke his teeth taking this bite and the Rock of Cashel fell from his mouth to where it now stands"
Kinneff Old Church as you see it today largely dates back to a major rebuilding of an earlier church which took place in 1738, with an additional north aisle added in 1876. What resulted was a typical example of a Scottish "T" plan kirk, in which all eyes are directed towards the pulpit, placed centrally on the cross-bar of the "T" on the south wall. Post-Reformation churches of this type were intended to ensure that the congregation took their religion seriously, and sought to avoid any distractions from the minister and the message he was preaching.
A church was first erected on this spot in 1242. This comprised a nave and chancel within a simple rectangular building. After the Reformation in 1560 the basic structure of the church remained the same, but the interior was rearranged, with seating in the two ends pointing in towards the middle and the pulpit, and galleries in both ends. This was essentially the church in which the Reverend James Grainger found himself minister when, in late 1651, Cromwell's forces under the command of General George Monck besieged Dunnottar Castle, six miles up the coast. By the time Dunnottar fell on 26 May 1652, it was the last place left in Scotland holding out for Charles II.
Monck was especially keen to take Dunnottar because he knew it was where the Honours of Scotland, the Scottish Crown Jewels, had been taken for safekeeping, and their capture would be hugely symbolic. But when the castle fell, the Honours were nowhere to be found. Reverend Grainger's wife had smuggled them out of the besieged castle and the couple had buried them under the floor of Kinneff Old Church, only revealing their whereabouts after the Restoration of Charles II in 1660.

2-Bit Adder Plus Carry Bit. Constructed from quad XOR (Exclusive Or), AND, and OR gates plus 5 switch dip switch packet and 10 LED block (Only 3 used). A bit of skygazing in this sequence. I need to get a IR filter so this film will truly do what it's supposed to do.
Shot on Ilford SFX 200 with Holga 120N and red filter. Developed in Rodinal 1:100 stand dev for 55 minutes. Film scan adjusted in GIMP with auto levels.
