A bit hard to get a sharp focus on the petal point with handheld.
My shaky hands is to hard for the Mega OIS to correct?
Looks good on LCD preview but upon scrutiny on my laptop was not so sharp :-(
Any one know how to select focus point and increase DoF while on iA mode?

As seen from the 45th floor observation deck, North Tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Building. I swear the elevator goes up a floor a second, with absolutely no movement or sound whatsoever.
With favorable weather conditions, landmarks such as Mount Fuji, the Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine and the Tokyo Dome can be seen from the observatories in the North and South Towers. No such luck this time, smog ...

We went up to the Jemez last weekend with family and tromped around in the snow for a bit. 'Cause in my opinion if it's going to be cold, I might as well be in the snow.
Despite our heater being broken in the car, we had a good time. :)
This is a Millers Falls no 182 bit brace, originally made for corner work. As almost always, this item misses it's extendable handle. This brace is in good condition with only slight loss of nickel plating. We can all agree that the small fidgety pawls that sets the direction of the ratchet mechanism isn't the easiest to use. But having used more than twenty different bit braces, this one has one of the best chucks I've seen. The Leland universal jaws will swallow absolutely everything you feed it with and it will grip it tight. Top handle features very nicely spinning ball bearings. A quality bit brace.
Image made from 3 exposures + tone mapping, wanted to achieve studio like shot.
The secret is, that the bottle and the ice are over a glass surface, with a light at the bottom.
Shot taken at the Durrell Wildlife Trust on Jersey. They had a couple of these in the grounds - lots of 'bit's of wood, terracotta, bricks, tiles, etc. placed within sections inside a screen. I thought they were a lovely abstract addition to the place, and made a cool image.

vintage figure of a girl at a sewing machine (i stole this from my mom i think),
otter and bunny finger puppets made locally,
new kids book "Zoe and the Fawn",
fawn and bird figures,
poem-on-a-mirror from my sister
and little pot painted by my great grand-ma
