One thing I really miss in winter is birdsong, so imagine our delight when we saw our crabapple tree full of robins recently. They shouldn't be in Maine now and I don't know if they are late flying south, or if they have decided to winter over. The robins were eating all the berries they could find and they swooped and cavorted through the branches of the tree all morning long. Then, as if by signal, unheard by me, they suddenly departed. A first for me! While walking along the foot of Morro Rock, I was enchanted by a melodic birdsong, looked up and spotted this beauty perched on the top of a large boulder, singing away! Morro Bay, CA

This is three unique DDG Text 2 Dream works blended together in Photoshop Beta 2023, re-shaped and re-colored.
The first texture is a photo of mine of fuchsia ice-plant flowers.
The second is an oil paint texture in PS at 30%. All processing was done in PS. Some hand painting.

First of all I wish you all an amazing start into this weekend! Today I'm sharing my third picture of the picture series for the • Gallant Magazine - Summer Issue • with you. Starring: wild paper planes, lurking Seagulls and last but not least - wonderful Purin-chan! I want to give a huuuge thank you to Purin for taking her time to join me in this picture. We've been wanting to take this picture for such a long time. I'm very happy it finally worked out and I hope you'll like how this turned out! :) This was so much fun to do and to be fair: I don't get to edit girls that often LOL. THANK YOU, PURIN! With their large eyes, robins can see well in low light so they are still very much on guard for rivals infiltrating their territory.
