I am really enjoying photographing Terns. This one was chasing another who had just caught a fish.

Only the sides are cropped.

Shot at Dunnet Head. Upgraded my camera to a Nikon Z8 recently, was never able to focus on birds in flight with my previous kit.

Trying, so, to catch birds in flight. Laguna Lake.

Thanks so much for your beautiful cards and good wishes on my birthday!

We had indeed a beautiful day, and we went to the sea. We visited a another beach yesterday, and there were lots of seagulls fishing. We had a lot of fun trying to get some pictures.

It was a very difficult shooting, and my persentage of good ones, this time was very low, anyway, it was a lot of fun.... :)

Thanks again.... ;)

Over the farming lands of central NSW, Australia, young Wedge-tailed Eagles like this cruise the thermals to travel long distances in search of food. But despite their enormous size, they're often harassed by much smaller birds who territorially protect their nests. Wedge-tailed eagles are powerful but shy birds of prey that prefer carrion such as road kill or dead farm animals.

I love this hot because it captures the behavioral interaction between 2 very different species showing the belligerence of the Australian Currawong and the indifference of the majestic Eagle. It was also a shot that took 4 days of driving to finally locate these birds in action.
