Dipper:-
A dipper with it’s chick waiting to be fed, hidden away at the foot of the waterfalls.
A short-tailed plump bird with a low whirring flight. When perched on a rock it habitually bobs up and down and frequently cocks its tail. Its white throat and breast contrasts with its dark body plumage. It is remarkable in its method of walking into and under water in search of food.

We had a quick 3 inches of snow during this storm. That's when we get the most birds. I guess they like to stick near the easy to get food when it snows.
Happy to say that I'm finally back after what feels like an eternity! My move went well with only a couple hiccups along the way, like lack of internet access for a while, but everything finally seems to be falling into place. I'm really enjoying the change of scenery at my new place and having so much fun whenever I get the chance to get out and shoot....not sure what I was so worried about.
I've missed you all dearly and can't wait to catch up with what you all have been up to! :-)
One of my favourite little birds! I liked this one against the beautiful blue sky, and the little glint in his eye! HEoM ;0)

American White Ibis juvenile, Miami, Florida, USA.
I updated Z9 to 4.10 and the result is amazing for birds in flight.

There were no pretty birds around so I settled for a plain brown bird that is almost invisible. You are not always dealt good hands, it is how well you play the cards you have.
Have been in a photography slump for a while and am redoing a bathroom in black and white so decided to hang some black and white bird shots. Like this one but not sure it will make it into the room. This is a European Starling just getting some sun.

Calling out for the summer
Demons flooded with light
Breaking up to the sound of birds
Singing now songs I can't describe
As the music begins
And the sky looks bright
And our spirits run free
Tonight
It's funny how things can turn out right
Sometimes when you let it go
Music you like on the radio
Plays out like you used to know
God knows, it feels like a while
Seasons are going fast 'cause I'm getting old
So long summertime
We swam across to an island
But there's an easy way back
We felt the sun on our shoulders
Warmed in our bones, now we're aching from the cold
As the music begins
And the sky looks bright
And our spirits run free
Tonight
It's funny how things can turn out right
Sometimes when you let it go
Music you like on the radio
Plays out like you used to know
God knows, it feels like a while
Seasons are going fast 'cause I'm getting old
So long summertime
Don't let go, let go of
Let's dive into the ocean one more time
Don't let go, let go of
This time
It's funny how things can turn out right
Sometimes when you let it go
Music you like on the radio
Plays out like you used to know
Summertime, it's been a while
And I don't wanna see you go
Another year passes by
Good times come and go
Summertime, it's been a while
I'm sorry, hate to see you go
Seasons are going fast 'cause I'm getting old
So long summertime
Birds bring the nectar of the earth to the clouds, that's why the rainbow exists, it's the explosion of the color of the flowers in the sky. Wonderful work that of nature, it moves even if we stand still. maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Angel%20in%20Heaven/70/63/25
