God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.

This robin built it's nest in the planter outside our front door. The eggs hatched a few days ago and there's been steady incoming worms to the babies.
I almost only see these colorful birds in winter. Then there are several couples who visit the bird tray every day and eat lots of sunflower seeds!

Someone has now taken my pop up hide from the wood area it was nightmare getting it back in bag so started to leave it tied to branches so it would not blow away and has been fine for months like that I mean what's next to steal -bird food the bin £#%$ sake.....
Young female Eastern Blue bird asking her dad for more food. I just watched him feed her, and I don't know what his thinking is. Is he tired, or just ignoring her, or just wondering what kind of mess he got him self into. They sure act like humans.
These birds were not being very cooperative - they kept moving during the 25-second exposure even after I asked them nicely to stay still :-(
The birds stand on the sticks overnight and when the sun comes up, they fly off for breakfast. This shot was 30 minutes before sunrise.

WISH YOU ALL A MARVELLOUS WEEK:D ( still working........comment asa I can)
"The birds of paradise,
With wings reaching free and far;
Their singing never dies,
Though centuries go afar.
Their longings are for peace,
Knowing things of worth;
Man is only what he believes,
From the day of his birth.
The forest and each leaf,
Are there for reasons too;
Some may be so brief,
Others stand longer than you.
Change of time will make,
New growth from the old;
Around the brook and the lake,
Colors we cannot hold.
Clouds will come and go,
With clearings in the sky;
Just like a breezing blow,
Suddenly - to start, and die."
