Summer's here, and so is the summer edition of BCM!
We’ve got a wide variety of subjects in this edition, ranging from beauty with a tutorial by Claire dans la Lune and an interview with Birdie, aka BirdBrain FX.
Even though they cancelled their tour, we still published the email interview we had with Matenrou Opera about their EU tour that was supposed to happen in July. We caught up with DJ SiSeN and Mikaru of G.L.A.M.S when they were in the country.
Photographer Helcanen is back again with more beautiful photos of Japan, focusing on Atami and Narita, showing you sides of these areas you wouldn’t encounter in a travel guide.
Furthermore there is art, reviews of events, exhibits, concerts and music and you can win a few autographed instax photos.

It's our 7 year anniversary! Here's to many more years of BCM editions!
In this one, we have a make-up tutorial by the talented Birdbrain FX, a small Colourful Summer Fashion feature. Helcanen talks about being an exhibiting foreign artist in Tokyo and is back with another beautiful travel feature. We spoke to Season of Ghosts, Satsuki, Laela French of Lucasfilm and haru (although there's a slight delay on that one), visited a ton of events and reviewed plenty of CDs, manga, anime and movies!
Furthermore we have art, snaps, competitions, and so much more!

it took a while, but phil finally admitted it had been quite some time since his last eye exam. sacrilege, i said, and immediately marched him off to the office, even though it was after hours. in retrospect, i probably should have billed him for an after hours visit, but i don't think i am on his insurance panel. for the most part, phil's exam was uneventful, but he did demostrate considerable difficulty differentiating between lens selections 1 or 2. such a birdbrain.
Not the smartest seagull. I got all up in his grill and he didn't move a muscle. No wonder he's missing a foot! I could have grabbed him and caught bugs.

It's our annual holiday edition! Which basically means holiday fashion in our last edition of the year. Meaning that we also have a holiday themed beauty tutorial (by BirdBrain FX). If you're wondering about how to care for your skin after all that make-up: Claire dans la Lune has you covered with a piece about skin care.
Together with Helcanen we travel Japan, with both a travel column and photo feature. Music wise there are interviews with KAMIJO, haru and HITT and of course, there is a signed instax photo to win!
All of that and much more is our final edition of 2018. We will be back for 2019 with more content. Spoiler alert: in issue #38 there will be an interview with Tomoyasu Hotei, and you'll be able to win a cheki signed by him! So plenty of good stuff in both this edition and the next one!
