After alighting on my wing mirror and looking up and over on the other side, it swivels its head and stares directly at me. The wagtail seems curious about the strange shape that dwells inside the structure. However it could be that it is looking at its own reflection and wondering why this Wagtail dares to stare at it, as it is, master of the realm.
This was shot from a precarious position. I jumped up on one of the concrete posts dotted around the pond and very carefully snapped a couple of shots. I just about managed to balance there for a few minutes! See the two black swans everyone else was shooting?
From left to right: Donal, Ryan, Kevin, Katie and Sean spotted me and started shooting the biggest birdbrain there ..

This Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) rules the roost at this farm shop, for sure!

They utilize 100% of the Ostrich making leather hides as well. When you really look at these creatures they seem caught between snake and bird, very dinosaur like indeed.
Sizing each other up, on the edge, an urban scene, Wagtail wonders why this foe is undettered? The lady is still unaware of the bird on the wing mirror
I went on a walk with my cammy down by the dam. and i ran into these fellas. I creeped up pretty close to them, it didn't occur to the birdbrains (lolz) to fly away until I was VERY obviously stalking them. oh well. There were also quite a few eagles around, which i got a few shots of. aaaaannnd lots of fishermen. who scared me.
This is not my photo. However, I did design the flowers for this company (BirdBrain) that makes beautiful handcrafted feeders and garden ornaments. It was a small project, but there is something immensely satisfying about designing a flower. The flower is a soft pliable plastic that has large threads molded in. This makes it easy to clean as the flowers screw in and provide a waterproof seal.
Here is a link to the design page I uploaded last year:

Seem like this is the first record of this species in spore (common sight in taiwan). Just wonder how this fella happen to get here, which is not her usual waypoint in her migration path.
Perhaps just like John Walker & Sons Voyager, she too embark on a journey landing at key ports seeking out the best worms on the way. It is unclear spore is one of her key port but definitely a good port to visit, full of opportunities and great promises. Our garmen offer wide range of benefits to FT like her from free worms to free mrt/bus rides, free education, free nesting, free medical checkup, free newspaper, free toilet paper, free clothing/underwear, interest-free bankloan/birdloan, free birdpark entrance, free feather replacement, 20mins free talktime if subscribe to singtel, free colour tv, free microwave oven, free birdbrain transplant, free balls replacement(for male bird), free holidays, free cremation (if die during mating) and the list goes on and on......
She somehow makes an emergency landing here running out of fuel and chance upon some juicy worms when she decide to stay for a couple of days more. Or perhaps knowing that our country in need of foreign talents (FT), she might stay here for good, later get married and have kids plenty of them.....a true odyssey

My mother has this skeleton (with a bird and a nest on it's head) in her art studio and I kidnapped him, took him out a while back and took pictures of him around town (view the set here). For mothers day I printed one of the photos out of him standing at a light pole and ran it through posterazor (it is GPL and Free) which is much like Rasterbator. I ended up with this HUGE poster. It turned out simply awesome.
