The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center officially opened its doors in September of 2006. The $15 million, 62,000 square foot facility was funded in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and created and owned in a joint partnership of the Hepatitis B Foundation and Delaware Valley College. The Center is a place of discovery, education and job creation with a shared vision of sustaining the vitality and beauty of Bucks County and the region. It seeks to advance biotechnology, maximize synergies between nonprofit scientists and their commercial colleagues, and launch new ideas and discoveries that will make a difference.
