Students from Fayette County Public School's Locust Trace AgriScience Center visited BCTC's biotechnology to learn more about careers in science at the Cooper Campus November 11, 2014.
The global lung cancer diagnostics market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 7.4% by 2023. Lung cancer occurs when cells of the lung become abnormal and begin to grow out of control. As more cancer cells develop, they form into a tumor and spread to other areas of the body. There are two types of lung cancer; Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and Small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Several factors such as pollution, smoking, passive smoking and other factors cause lunch cancer.
