Big and Beautiful this fellow was pulling a carriage in the Christmas rides last December, found in North Carolina.

This is a googly eye bird. This time they're a bit like Barbie doll's eyes. This yellow flower plant is huge. Up to second floor hight. I don't know what it is. Flower buds look like lily's but there are no lilies.

Big Dark Day, Bamburgh

The Wood Duck chicks are getting bigger, but she is missing three. Kevin Fox took a picture of them on 6-16-18 and all twelve were there. Keeping our fingers crossed no more disappear. Peace Valley Park, New Britain Pa.

This is one of the male Anna's hummingbirds in our backyard. The males are super aggressive and a typical late afternoon will showcase dozens of squabbles between birds. It's amazing to watch them in a chase scene. They fly so fast and so high, it's just mind boggling. They must pull some serious G's pulling out of their dives. Is that a magnificent fuchsia gorget on this guy or what?

On a technical note, I was trying out my new camera using auto-ISO in fading light. The camera chose ISO 12,800 which is really VERY high. I ran this through Topaz DeNoise AI to get rid of the noise, but I'm pretty amazed at the quality of the image at that 12,800 ISO.
