We just noticed this today. They are reworking the sidewalk and it appeared. The new sidewalk was still wet, so I couldn't get a straight on pic. I will retake when I can.

From my morning commute on the E train. Shot with iPhone using ToyCamera app somewhere in Queens. I find it fascinating that the iPhone picked up details of the scratched graffiti on the seats, which is painted over and not really visible to the naked eye.
This gatepost is all that's left of a fold yard nr North Rigton. The CBM is marked on the Yorkshire 6" to a Mile OS Map of 1907 at a recorded height of 520ft asl
Anyone who follows my photostream knows I love finding benchmarks while out hiking. The park officials at Bryce Canyon have placed 3 benchmarks on the Queen's Garden-Peekaboo-Navajo trail loop. OK, in this case they are pretty touristy and absolutely ZERO challenge to find.... but they were still fun.
Utah Vacation Day 9: Return to Bryce Canyon National Park. Last year we had planned to spend two days hiking trails down into amazing Bryce Canyon, but some moderately severe health problems had us cancelling vacation after just one day in the park. We hadn't planned on hiking Bryce this year, but a favorable weather forecast on the last day of our vacation made it just too tempting. We bundled up and started our hike early in the morning with temps around freezing and a cold breeze blowing. We combined the Queen's Garden. Peekaboo Loop, and Navajo Loop trails to make a figure 8 loop through the main Bryce Amphitheater. We were in t-shirts by the time end of the hike and it was every bit as beautiful as I had hoped it would be.

I feel like a different focal length would've helped here.. also, the weather sucked and the snow has to get lost now!
I remember that when I first arrived in Glasgow, the corporation buses were painted in green white and gold, and that then - after the elections one year - they were all repainted in corporate orange. I have always wondered if it had anything to do with a sectarian rebalancing of the transport committee...
