Confirming that the marker on the Brother outcrop in Alderfer/Three Sisters is not an NGS survey marker (*sigh*) but a Forest Service one. Although pretty battered, the numbers above the triangle in the center appear to be the site's elevation.

I've crossed this tree and bench hundreds of times. Mostly at night, coming from "De Vissers" (the fishermen) a cosy brown café in Alsemberg where I mostly spend my calm evenings while having a couple of beers with my friends.

There used to be a statue of the virgin Mary inside the tree a couple of years ago...

I wondered what happened with it and who replaced or removed it.

This picture kind of symbolises the fact that I'm in a kind of resting mode when it comes to photography. I've started working some weeks ago and don't have a lot of spare time, so my ideas for future pictures are put on hold. But I do hope to catch up the following weeks. So keep tuned and good night! ;)
