This is probably somewhere on my photostream, but it was first taken around 8 years ago.
It was in the public garden behind the church, which was a delightful place to sit. Sadly, it got taken over by drunks and the like and was completely spoilt. Now, no benches and no-one else using a lovely green spot.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :)
In Central Park, not far from a playground where my kids were having fun. A fresh bunch of small flowers forgotten on a bench...
The walled garden at Berrington Hall, Herefordshire. Taken on our Ludlow trip the week before last; we’re away again now so comments a bit sporadic...
HBM!
Happy Bench Monday HBM/Original Bench!
Overlooking Lake Erie earlier today at Erieau.
With 55F temps it was a fabulous day for a ride to the lake!
Nearby Green Road Gardens opened to the public this weekend so as Martin was off work we headed along. We did visit this time last year, they held a fund raising event for the Helen Blake Lifeboat Appeal. Irene Kelly the owner runs various classes throughout the year; basket weaving, plant propagation, seed saving, stone carving etc. You can read about the gardens here www.greenroadgardens.ie
The Roses & herbaceous borders were beautiful but I especially liked this overgrown little pond, perfect wildlife habitat. We walked round & sat on the bench. Once again we counted our blessings. It's 2 years this month since we moved house from Co. Cork, the stress was all worth it HBM!
The well known bench at the Big Lizard sculpture (that has been there since 1996). always a popular hang out spot at West End. Happy Bench Monday/ HBM
Two elderly Martians, immersed in current events, are captured by an astute photographer. But could the fodder they're reading be Mars’s version of fake news?
Another bench from while I was down at the Mini Marina. I somehow think that this might not have been as comfortable as some of the others I took!
Much better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
From this bench you have a very nice view above Lago del Sambuco.
The weather, even if many people wouldn't describe it as good, was simply beautiful.
Hope you like it! And if you do, please leave a fave!
A rather special bench. We call it the dog walkers bench as a lot of people and their dogs take a rest on it. Graham used to sit here with Bonnie and chat to the other dog owners.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
