For some reason I hadn't previously been to Bempton Cliffs to witness the activities of the hundreds of thousands of seabirds. The kittiwake seemed the most numerous but the grander of the gannet with its six foot wingspan will catch the eye of most. In this view just below one of the viewing galleries a dozen or so are seen at rest.

It was lovely to watch these beautiful birds coming in and tearing up the grass for their nests.
