We are back in Goulburn and stopped for another break, before heading home I took this shot of Bell Tower

Here is a view of Bell Bay on the Tamar River estuary in the late afternoon. I am standing just above the practice putting green at the George Town Golf Club.

The course had just been closed because of the lock down restrictions, and I was on my four hour covert drive taking as many photographs as possible in the time. You can see a cargo ship departing from the docks at Bell Bay. We will meet up with this ship again in future installments.

Wow, for the first time in years, I ate at a Taco Bell's. The Army base had one, so Kathya and I went in there one afternoon and ate three tacos. They gave me change in U$ dollars and I stared at it so long and hard that Kathya started laughing.

Bell tower in the National Park, Georgetown, Guyana, South America. I don't know much about this structure, when it was erected or the use to which it has been put in the past. The park was once a golf course and this may well date back to those times.

The lovely Maroon Bells, near Aspen, is one of the most photographed scenes in Colorado... and for good reason. For me, shooting here is one of those bittersweet memories since, on one hand, it's an incredibly beautiful spot & a must-have shot if you live in Colorado... but then, on the other hand, you're there on a frigid fall morning with dozens & dozens of other photographers and you realize your shot isn't going to be anything unique. I always say it's all about the experience, and I still believe that, even though here the experience was shivering on a lakeshore a two-minute walk from the parking lot with over a hundred other crazy people with cameras.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italian: Torre pendente di Pisa) or simply the Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa [ˈtorre di ˈpiːza]) is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in the city's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo), after the cathedral and the Pisa Baptistry.

Construction on the cathedral began in 1063 (1064 according to the Pisan calendar of the time) by the architect Buscheto, and expenses were paid using the spoils received fighting against the Muslims in Sicily in 1063. It includes various stylistic elements: classical, Lombard-Emilian, Byzantine, and Islamic, drawing upon the international presence of Pisan merchants at that time. In the same year, St. Mark's Basilica began its reconstruction in Venice, evidence of a strong rivalry between the two maritime republics to see which could create the most beautiful and luxurious place of worship.

The 150th anniversary of the establishment of the City of Buchanan (Michigan) Fire Department was in 2012. The event was celebrated with the return of the bell that occupied the original fire house. The bell now occupies a place of honor in Fire House Park.

The following enscription is found on the bell:

Meneely & Kimberley,

Founders,

Troy, N. Y., 1876.

Unfortunately, the steps taken to protect the bell from vandalism (i.e., enclosure in plexiglass) makes it nearly impossible to take decent photos of the bell without intrusive reflections.

Yesterday I did a beach day, this one a quick stop at Bells Beach. Got wet and cold but still great to see the ocean again. Amazing the difference a couple of hours drive can make in the weather!

DANVILLE VA: DAN RIVER MILLS: Once upon a time, a long time ago, factory workers lived very close to the factory. So close, in fact, they could be called to work by the ringing of the factory bell or whistle.

Tinkle....or Tintinnabulation

These are bells meant for birds of prey, which I use on my dogs' collars. Ralph wears the large ones meant for Eagles and Buzzards, and the girls wear the little ones for Kestrels and Hawks. They all sound different so I can hear where they are in the garden .

The Korean Bell of Friendship in Sand Pedro. Taken in the early morning hours just as the sun broke. I gave it some heavy handed toning and processing. I was in the mood for something a little different. Pushing buttons helps that. It created a little more drama. This is a great place to kill an hour. Mornings or evenings. Theme: Ring the Bell

The only bell I could find in the house, a small Delft bell passed on to me by someone on my mother's side (the Dutch half of my genetic makeup). Like a lot of folks, I wanted to include the clapper, and the only way I could think of to show both the windmill and the clapper at the same time was to hold the bell. Ironically, this led to way more motion blur than I was able to easily generate for last week's theme. I just couldn't get enough light on it for a quick shutter, even bringing the ISO to 800. Anyway, I was able to hold relatively still for this one.

This bell is on Taffy's Christmas collar. It is one half inch in diameter.
