- www.kevin-palmer.com - It was the perfect evening at Middle Fork Powder River Canyon. After a sunny day, these wispy clouds moved in for a spectacular sunset. Then they moved out again to allow for astrophotography later.

Pic shows a “baby butterfly” trying to come out of the chrysalis (pupa) but faced some difficulty. A passer-by ant who happened to know some midwifery stopped by to help by giving a big push. And life begins for a Papillon.
I captured this image of a tulip beginning to unfurl in the soft afternoon light from my kitchen window. I love the color, bud, and surrounding leaves.
The Arthur M Anderson was the last vessel to depart Duluth for the 2021 shipping season and interestingly it was the first to arrive for the 2022 season. The arrival looked a lot like the departure as a mid-spring snow storm enveloped the region.

That ... and new beginnings; the theme for our family in 2012. The biggest change will be for Rachel. She is expecting her first child in March and I will be a granny!! I am so happy right now, that our family is together, launching the new year ... and making plans for the future. Today seemed the perfect day to share this wonderful news. ♥
This is an image of baby boy's first pair of shoes. Of course they had to be Converse!!
Thanks to everyone's wonderful support and comments in 2011. I am looking forward to the new year with all of you. I just couldn't miss the first Sliders Sunday of the year ... and you just know I slid this one a lot (some things never change)! LOL!!
Happy Sliders Sunday & Happy New Year!!
Psalms 102
25 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
27 But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.
28 The children of your servants will live in your presence;
their descendants will be established before you."

Feb 3rd, 2017
It's quite weird to see this kind of cloud at the beginning of February. Anyway, looks like today has been the first chase day of 2017 with this "winterly" shelf cloud.
We made this together.
I still remember the day I hold my camera in my hands, I thought it's beautiful as it's complicated. I knew, from the very beginning, I'll have great time while taking photos but I surely didn't know that my camera will teach me about myself, it will become my eyes and I won't go a day without hearing shutter sound, haha. :) It's not just a hobby anymore, it turned into something that I will never lose my passion about, it turned into something that I can't live without doing.
About my works, I love all of them. I love looking at my old photos and thinking "omg, did I really put that up?" Haha. I love seeing all mistakes I've done, I love reading my descriptions and rejuvenate my memory, I love everything about them. That's all I can say about my photos and my love of photography, what I was doing is a life album and now it's done. Until I start something new! ;)
Let's start thank you's? :)
First, my family, my mom and Zuzu, for sure. I know you will understand only a few words if you ever read this but I want everyone to know that you are my first supporter and you always encourage me to stand for what I believe in and what I want to do. You are always there no matter what happens and no one can understand how much I love you and how much I want you to be happy. (whaaaaat, tears are coming! haha.) You are the best mother I could ever ask for and the only person I would do everything for. You don't even know how proud I am to be your daughter and I'm the luckiest girl ever because in 1 universe, 8 planets, 204 countries, 809 islands, 7 seas, 6 billion people, you're MY best friend.
I love you to the moon and back! Haha. <3
Now it's your turn, Zuzu! :) My gorgeous girl. You're the best model I have ever had! :') I just can't stand how beautiful and smart you are, you always make me want to hug you so tight until I break your bones! :o (oh.) You share your precious toys with me, even your meal! Haha. (once she brought me her bone when I was asleep and I found it near my pillow in the morning.) I just love you so freakin much and I guess you know that. Now I'm going to take a break of writing and kiss your lovely nose! <3
So... let's come to you. How can I thank you enough?
You all have been with me through this journey. You were there when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm hopeless, when I'm weak, when I'm strong, when I'm sick, when I'm okay, when I was worried. You were there, no matter what. You cheered me up with your comments, with your messages, with your photos, with your endless support. I've always felt special and loved. Do you know how thankful I am? You probably don't. And can't. I say it from the very deep of my heart, I'm so thankful for you. I appreciate your existence in every way possible. I've been on many websites, and none of them is like flickr. It's like we've known each other for a long time, at least it's how you make me feel.
We're an inspirational world-wide family and we do amazing things together!

This was taken an early morning during my visit in Cairns Australia. I had just passed by a beautiful photography shop that had panorama photographies and it got me really inspired of taking my photography to another level. So the next day I booked a class with Gareth who taught me some really good stuff and the same early morning we got this shot.
It was really early and it was high tide at the moment, in other words slippery and pitch black. When the sun was up we saw a log coming in to the beach and then I was told that it could be crocodiles around that area. Luckily I ended up being fine, just ruined my shorts but I gained a lot of inspiration and knowledge, at this point my photography was taking a new turn.
