Every autumn, hundreds of walnuts fall off the neighbour's walnut tree, with many landing on our property and even onto our ladder hanging on brackets outside.

This is a large sculpture/installation at the University of Washington, Seattle, near the law school. You can get an idea of scale from the patch of ground with tree shadow at the lower right.
