One has to wonder why! The science explains but still it makes me wonder why, how can this be!

Geometric Cubes

For theme #BeautifulGeometry , #FlickrFriday Group.

(Flickr Friday: #241 Beautiful Geometry)

According to the current theme, I was supposed to take a photo of something related to geometry. Because I enjoy playing Scrabble, I thought it could be cool to make a geometric shape with all the little pieces. I even hid a word :-)

De acuerdo con el tema propuesto, tenía que tomar una foto de alguna cosa relacionada con la geometría. Como me gusta mucho jugar a Scrabble, pensé que podría ser una buena idea crear una forma geométrica con todas las pequeñas piezas.

This photo has been selected by Flickr, among other submissions to the Flickr Friday Group Challenge, to be part in a gallery :-) You can find here

Hard to say what is "Your Best Shot" ... but this could be in my case, because I only had one chance to shoot before the authority came out to forbid me to continue doing it and the result was almost perfect ... just what I wanted achieve.

I used a flash light specialised for close up shots, like macro, to enhance the shapes.

For the theme #sidelit.

HMM to everybody! ;-)

And for the theme #BeautifulGeometry in Flickr Friday!

Add the side lighting, and they also create circle, sphere, oval, and cone shapes that can be described geometrically using PI.

Inspiration is needed in geometry,

just as much as in poetry!

Taken with a lumimuse 3 led directed toward leaves at 90 degrees. Hope this is correct for this technical theme!...HMM !!

Autist's delight :-), Squares, circles, dots, rings, colours... what else, right? And they are all decaf, haha...

My favorite coffee shop in Tulsa has this light fixture it has amazed me over the years and I have taken many photos of this dodecahedron cube, which makes a great subject for Beautiful Geometry.

Old GDR era setting for a charity shop in Berlin that has still kept all the original features, well worth a visit !.

Peeking into a vacant house, this lovely kitchen sink smiled back at me.

P.S. I'll be catching up with you all a bit later... Happy Monday!

This is an itch I've been wanting to scratch for ages, plus, it absolutely summed up what I was saying to the friend I travelled to London with today - that people are inexorably tethered to their phones, even when they are with their friends; missing out on conversations, art, interaction and simple joys. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Tch. Or as Gerry Rafferty would say, "This city desert makes you feel so cold, It's got so many people, but it's got no soul..." - Shut up, Gerry, cue the sax solo...

Love my shells, thank you Pacific Ocean:)

(truth is: she's my 'real' Mama)

This large art object in the shape of a squashed cuboid was seen in Berln, Germany.
