Another Hayman burn picture. This is a panorama made from 10 other photographs. Interestingly, when these pictures were taken, I never planned on putting them all together. I did not even know what a panorama was.
Echo Lake, on Mount Evans, Colorado, is a small, beautiful mountain lake enveloped in a lush forest of Engelmann Spruce and Subalpine Fir trees. We hiked around the small lake, and sampled a couple of the trails that have a trailhead at the lake.
My son-in-law hoped to fly fish in the clear, shallow waters of Echo Lake at 10,600ft elevation (3230m), but prospects appeared slim.
Another photo from my weekend to Exloo.. Except for cropping and framing straight out of camera.. Amazing huh?
I like the isolation, the colour, the brighter light in the background, and the crop was quite deliberately cinematic.
A beautiful female Cardinal enjoying the new home made bird feeder tray. The Cardinals seem so much more colorful this time of year. They positively glow.
