The usual beasts of Cummersdale are now sharing the limelight on a regular basis with a different kind of beast. The sound of the curlew on the wing is also now frequently interrupted with the growl of 'tractor's' through the Dale and not of the agricultural kind! The sun has just peeped above the Pennine chain on this misty late-Spring morn' as Direct Rail Services 37611 (with 37409 'Lord Hinton' on the rear) powers away from the Border City heading the 2C32 05:15 Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness on Saturday 23 May 2015. I was happy to be located behind a hawthorn hedge with freedom to move and relocate along a track for the optimum composition without danger!

Assumption is the mother of all f**k ups, or so they say at least. Sometimes you get Beast Mode when you least expect it.
I hadn't had inspiration for pictures in a while, but wanted to do a pic with a bit of a MMA vibe to it. Perhaps to remind people to never underestimate a girl's potential for unleashing the beast.

My internet was down all day yesterday, so I'm getting to post this today!
So, I got crazy excited today because I got a 'Beauty and the Beast' Prince doll with an almost complete outfit !!!! His condition is great, but I still rebodied him on a not fully articulated Action Man body.
I also got this Barbie doll, and at home, during a head swap, her neck peg came out, breaking the neck joint in the process, so her precious articulated body had to be scrapped :/ I got a cool sofa, a pinball game and a Disney doll shirt, too!
In amongst the rubble of the broken homes he created. The Beast does sit with his golden heart. Forever protecting it with his greed.
While I'm uploading a few pictures taken by other people, I thought I'd share this photo I got given a few years ago of a very purposeful looking 6x6 MAN 38.320 dumper- undoubtedly built for George Wimpey.
I'm afraid I've no idea of the location or destination although I'm guessing it was taken at the bodybuilders premises?
Nothing would have prepared me for the aural assault I experienced standing 40ft from a Lightning on full chat.
It felt like my insides had been rearranged!
One of those life changing moments.

I am not sure a picture can capture the absolute beauty of this area of the New Fantasyland expansion, but that doesn't stop me from trying! The scope is absolutely amazing and to me is the most impressive part of New Fantasyland and perhaps the single most impressive sight in all of Walt Disney World at the moment. It's the first time I can remember just stopping and staring awestruck, most probably with my mouth wide open. It really is quite amazing and I hope all of you who haven't had the chance to see it in person get to see it soon. You absolutely can't miss it!
I imagine that Belle and the Beast had a fantastic view of this sunset from their vantage point on in Beast's Castle! I imagine it making a stunning backdrop to a luxurious French dinner.
Holiday Beast 443
Not based on a song or band or lyrics. Just a bleary-eyed, abstract, crazed view of being smack in the middle of the holidays, that big bird of a beast, and all the stress, craziness and excess it brings with it's flapping wings.
