Myathropa florea is a common hoverfly, often seen visiting hogweed umbels and other flowers between May and October. It is also known as the Dead Head Fly or the Batman Hoverfly because of the distinctive markings on the thorax. It is closely related to the Drone Fly and the Helophilus species as Myathropa florea's rat-tailed larva live in rotten wood and water filled holes in trees!
Hello everyone
So today is finally the day we'll see BvS and i couldn't be more excited for this movie so to celebrate that enjoy this two minifigs i've done for this film.
So Superman... I gotta admit that i don't think i've put so much hard work into a fig as i did with supes, yes it could be cleaner but in my defense the metallic blue i used is really hard to work with.
Other than that you could say this is a upgraded fig as i just painted the metallic blue lines, the boots, the eyebrow & mouth (yes that face was originally the smile one) ,added a modded cape & sand the hair.
So yeah i know this isn't the greatest you'll see but i'm really happy with him and i don't intend to change him as for me and me only this is perfect.
Hope you like him
PD:Huge thanks to my friends Mumu,Rodrigo & Dino for helping me out with this fig

now is it a battercream butman or buttercream batman...depends on your sugar levels i guess.
Buttercream body with fondant face, logo and toolbelt. Handpainted logo and batman figure (not the cape) is dusted with a black lustre. Apologies for the poor photo, taken at night. Well this is it for the real cakes for a couple of days - food show time phew!
Batman cowl sculpt using a ski mask(thanks to alex for sending me one). This cowl will be for my update Ben Affleck Batman. Posted this because I wanted to hear comments/criticism, so please drop a comment!
A closer look at the Batman and Superman collaboration between Josiah, Billy and Myself. All sculpting was done by Josiah and Billy, Capes by Billy, and Paint by KJ. I had a lot of fun working with these guys and look forward to our next endeavor. I switched out the head we originally used for Batfleck for the Phoenix Custom's Pirate Assassin head. I like it. Let me know what you think.
Hope you all enjoy. C & C always welcomed and appreciated.

Myathropa florea, the hoverfly with the batman logo on its back, can only have one common name - the Batman Hoverfly! Happy Fly Day Friday everyone!
I've been meaning to do this since I got the new Venom fig, but the release of Death Metal and _legobenjwick_ on IG finally inspired me to make it real quick today.
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVORITE
So it's Batman day today, and while I'm really kind of sick of him at the moment, I still love him to death, so in celebration I made this build.
I knew the second I saw the gargoyle I wanted to make a batman build with him, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
More figs! Ever since my figs started living near my computer creativity has gone way up. All of these use recently acquired fig parts.
L to R: The Bat-Beast, Toxic Protection Suit, Bat-Guardian, Captain Batmerica upgrade, Heavy Metal Batman
Batmans Tumbler from the Dark Knight trilogy. Man I love this car/tank, as you've probably guessed from the number of times I keep trying to build it.
Can't help but feel like this latest attempt isn't too shabby though. It's got better proportions, particularly wrt wheel sizing, and better detailing than previously. And, yes, it's a bit bigger but it's still close to mini-figure scale, and complements my '89 Batmobile perfectly.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it!
And if you want to build it and own it yourself, the instructions are here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-40543/riskjockey/the-dark-knight...
Sometimes he surprises us – now he has Mr. Eliot to play with, he is finally becoming much kinder to the girls in the feline household. Because of his forced, early separation from his mother when he was just 12 weeks old (she had emergency surgery), he never learned to understand that his boisterous and bullying behavior physically hurt his siblings and mother. Mr. Eliot has taught Batman that biting hurts and they now have a safe “rough and tumble” relationship, which has redirected Batman’s attention away from the girls.
Well, Telltale Batman is back with Series 2, which means my series of Telltale pics is back as well.
First off, major Spoilers for episode 1.
I thought this was a very good episode. Far better than what we were left with as a finale for season 1. The Riddler was ok, although I hate his design. I liked that he was pretty brutal, but i'm still iffy on him being older. It doesn't really matter seeing how he was killed off anyway, either by John Doe, or who I hope to be Deadshot. We also got a glimpse at Harleen Quinzel, and I really can't wait to see how Harley will look in this universe. Also, Lucius straight up dies from a missile from the Riddler. Kind of came out of nowhere, but I didn't mind the death. I also liked the trophies in the Batcave. Oh, and that ending where it's revealed that Waller knows Bruce is Batman. I thought that was neat.
Anyways, I like where it is headed again, and i'm interested to see what other villains show up down the road.
As for the figures. From L to R:
Amanda Waller, The Riddler, Batman, Alred Pennyworth, and Lucius Fox.

The New 52 had it's weak points, but boy was this just a weird story from start to finish!
Now Danny Miki (the inker for a majority of the series) had some really good... and some really not so good artwork throughout this run. One of the most notable in my mind is his Zero Year apocalyptic, Frank Castle-y, “Last Of Us”-ish Batman with a dirt bike and a crossbow. To accompany all that, Scott Snyder's got the Batman out there fightin' lions and stuff, bein' an edgy son of a gun, with a weird crew cut and little purple gloves! ...uh what? ...what the heck?!
Plus I'm really not going to get into plot holes or nit pick it as much as I'd like, but I can tell you it's a pretty weird story (not in the good way) but the art (in general) is pretty cool I guess...(?)
Now I hadn't really planned on shooting anything Scott Snyder related, mostly because I've never really been blown away by his material. But when I (finally) got a hold of some new s16 CMF parts, everything just kind of came together naturally :)
I think this will be the only one I'll post here, but there are a few other images on Patreon with Mr Batman on the bike, and some shots of the build in the foreground as well :)

The Dark Knight Rises!
There’s always something going on at Dundas Square and on this particular day, the Batmobile took centre stage. What an awesome mechanical creation, especially designed for the king of crime fighters and on display just in time for the latest installment of The Dark Knight series. It certainly attracted a crowd.
The specs are impressive. Designed and built by renowned fabricator George Barris, it features a custom crafted body, bullet proof glass, six monster tires and every imaginable gizmo under the sun to assure that all obstacles are overcome and Batman arrives at his destination to apprehend the bad guys. Cool!

My friend Batstuff told me about these ages ago, but I had never seen them in stores until today. My son found them while we were waiting in line at Wal Mart( way to go, Dev!).Batman pez dispensers have been around for years, but this is the first time I've seen Pez of members of his Rogues Gallery before.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
As a huge Batman fan, and after really liking Ben Affleck’s portrayal of him in Batman vs Superman (particularly the Warehouse scene - that was awesome), I knew I needed to make him in time for Justice League.
I’m really happy with how this figure turned out: I used my casted Muscular torso as a base, with a custom sculpted Bat symbol on his chest, gauntlets, boots, belt buckle and cape. I finished it off with some Brick Affliction gloves, part of the LEGO Batman Movie tactical belt and a Cyclopsbricks cowl.
It was then painted up with Citadel paints. This was really the focus of the figure as I wanted to portray the texture of the suit, but I thought it would be far too complicated to sculpt. I’m very happy with how the ‘texture’ turned out.
The eyes were heavily inspired by Ross (MGF Customs) and Yale (Legomaniac97).
Looking forward to hearing what you all think of it!
Ben Affleck's Batman, a mix on the BvS and Tactical suit. Made as a commission to Jacob (Jcbrick).
Everything on the torso, arms, and belt is sculpted as requested and I even painted all by me. No arm braces were sculpted as I was told not to for Jacob will be using vambraces when I give him the torso, arms, and legs only.
The head and cowl are mine from the Knightmare Batman except modified on the ears. And the cape is just a new cape, I would use a cape with no points if I had any on me right now.
What do you think!?
