All the major characters from the first batman arkham game.

Left to Right

Poison Ivy: you've seen her before

Harley Quinn: nothing new here

Bane: and again...

Joker: well i finally decided on E. looks very arkham.

Batman: trying a new cape design. looks pretty good.

Scarecrow: i think i posed him before, but anyways, the coat is actually a cape i cut to make it look like a coat.

Riddler: while not actually appearing in the first game, i threw him in since i havnt shown him off yet. Totally not stolen design based of of batmanbeoynd117.

Killer Croc: see the solo photo

Zsasz: just kinda threw him in last minute. nothing real special.

High above Gotham River (Well not for long!) Batman battles the mysterious villain Hush, with Gordon in quick pursuit. Will the Dark Knight discover the identity of this secretive adversary before it’s too late for the both of them?!

I’m rather happy with how this turned out. It was hard to get a good picture, but I think building the bridge section at a slight angle helped, as well as giving a better perspective view. I’m also very happy with my Hush minifigure from Christos Customs (Although he was my plan B fig after losing the auction for another character), and make sure you look out for him in other builds too.

batman! batman! ta nã nã nã nã nã nã nã nã nã nã!

For a lot of people (myself included), the 1966 Batman movie with Adam West and Burt Ward was my first introduction to the Caped Crusaders in the world of film. I loved the movie as a kid, and still have an appreciation of it as an adult. This build condenses my favorite sequence in the movie, where Batman is desperately attempting to dispose of a giant bomb, but is blocked at every turn by innocent civilians. I tried to capture all of the major points and location, while taking a few liberties to put it all together into an interesting vignette. This build appears in issue 18 of BLOCKS magazine.

PS: I realize this is not the 1960's Batman minifig, but the Classic Batcave set didn't come out until after I built and photographed this for the magazine.

A classic Batman Badge provides another subject for my 'squared circle' project.

I made this quick Batman minimalist based on the BvS suit.

For several years, the streets of Gotham have been protected by the vigilante known as Batman. Night after night, the billionaire Bruce Wayne secretly wears the suit to defend the innocents against superpowered criminals trying to take over the city. But it seems that for once Bruce can have a good night’s rest; in the span of just a few months, he has managed to put almost his entire rogues gallery inside the Arkham Asylum with only a couple of his most prominent enemies still running loose. Now that crime has declined to an astronomically low number for the first time in decades, Bruce decides to hang up the cowl for a while to focus on his personal life and finances while Commissioner Gordon and the rest of the GCPD take over most of his work.

Meanwhile, after an experiment involving injecting modified toxins extracted from plants into test subjects in the hopes of improving one's immune system goes haywire, one of the participants, the young botanist Pamela Isley ends up hospitalized in a critical condition. The doctors can’t seem to figure out why her body is reacting so heavily because of the toxins, and more importantly how they could cure her before she will pass away. The more time passes, the more Pamela’s skin starts to become green. After a few days the man responsible for the experiment, Dr. Jason Woodrue, decides to visit her in the hospital mainly to document the results of his toxins. As he takes pictures and notes down some interesting observations, he doesn’t notice a bunch of sharp vines rising through the floor behind him. With one small hand movement, Pamela impales Jason with the vines leaving him to bleed out in the room. Confused about her new powers, she sneaks out of the hospital to seek shelter at her friend’s Harleen Quinzel and Selina Kyle’s place.

At the same time, following a failed escape attempt with explosives by one of the Arkham Asylum inmates, a large section of the prison got damaged. Even though none of the inmates or the guards got critically injured, the asylum is no longer fit to house some of the most dangerous criminals of the city until it gets repaired. Despite Batman being off-duty, Gordon still leaves him a message at the Bat-Signal asking him to guard the convoys the convicts are in while they get relocated to another nearby jail. After giving it some thought and discussing it with his butler Alfred, Bruce agrees to wear the suit for a short while again before continuing his break.

While the convoy drives through the city late at night, Batman follows it by running across the rooftops of buildings. As the group of transports stops at a red traffic light, he suddenly notices that the streets are starting to crack. Before he can glide down to check what is going on, gigantic plants erupt from beneath the street that heavily damage every single one of the transports. As Batman jumps off the building, the inmates detained in the convoy start to stumble out of the wreckage in an attempt to escape. Shortly after landing and making sure a couple of the criminals won’t make it away he notices Aaron Cash, a respected GCPD security guard holding crime lord Black Mask at gunpoint. As he tries to run towards him to try to figure out what is going on, he notices the cause of the destruction; some of the only villains he didn't manage to capture, Harley Quinn and Catwoman, are accompanied by someone he has never seen before who seems to control the plants. Before he can reach Aaron, another vine erupts from the ground below him knocking him out.

As he regains consciousness, a lot of the inmates have already managed to escape. Aaron helps him get back up on his feet as he notices a playing card laying on the street. He picks it up and sees it's a joker card with some writing on it.

‘’Joker sends his regards.’’

-The Gotham Sirens

Finally, the puzzle pieces fit together; the entire attack on the convoy was nothing more than a distraction to get Joker, the most dangerous villain Batman knows, out of prison along with causing more chaos around the city by releasing the rest as well. No matter what will happen, it will take Batman a lot of work to clean up this mess.

After seeing The Batman twice in the cinema a few weeks back, i can pretty confidently say that it is one of the best comic book movies in years. So following that, i got inspired to make a Batman figbarf very loosely inspired by the movie. Enjoy!

Looks like you got my invitation.

It's just you and me.

COME ON!

What has recently become my favorite combo for both of these guys. I like the short ear cowl with the Beware the Batman torso and the grey-ish head.

WIP OF BATMAN'S ARM

holy cow batman lives

The most important part, the helmet, is a complete helmet, so practically, I can pull it on top of his normal head, (the one I used in my photo) not the standard head with the white stripe, that all the Batman minifigs have. I did a lot of sanding, I added eyes and it was quite difficult to cut 2 identical pieces that small, and in that certain eye shape of white rubber that I was looking for. The gap that the mask had, to add the mouth, was filled with a very small piece of black plastic and in the middle, I made another very small hole by melting the plastic with a very thin piece of wire kept on fire, because I didn't have any tool that small. The mouth itself is made from the white plastic of cotton swabs.

The belt was made from a classic Batman yellow belt, again the same process melting the plastic it with a very thin piece of wire kept on fire and adding the stuff I need it to make it look like the original belt but in a smaller scale. At the end I painted the belt and the wings.

This in my take on a character, trying to keep it close to the original, but adding things to make it more personal and unique.

I hope you like it.

Stay tuned, more will come :)

All the best!

Batman Forever (1995) - Robin (Chris O'Donnell), Batman (Val Kilmer), The Riddler (Jim Carrey), Sugar (Drew Barrymore), Two Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and Spice (Debi Mazar)

I can just take pictures of these all day. This is reminiscent of a poster I had as a kid.

I tried experimenting with a yellow themed Batman. Seems to work nicely. He's kinda based on the Thrillkiller Batman, just with more yellow.

He looks better in real life, the blue background really isn't very flattering.

This creation depicts the scene shown in the Batman vs Superman trailer.

DC JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROCLIX. BATMAN

Batman is the only oil city of Turkey. Before the arrival of oil Batman was just a tiny village, now its tree lined main avenue tries to emulate Ankara. It is booming, with many five-storey residential blocks going up to accommodate new workers, the majority of them Kurdish, who are being encouraged to settle in this area to stem rural migration to Ankara or Istanbul. As long as there is employment for them here, they are likely to stay.

Out of the Batman collectible minifigs, my favorite is definitely Vacation Batman. The ducky float is priceless!

A last minute MOCAthalon entry for the Super Hero category.

I'll eventually be updating this version of the Tumbler by adding an interior and tweaking small design elements.

The Batman tracks down Selina Kyle, an expert jewel thief otherwise known as Catwoman, to her Gotham Apartment. Build inspired in part by Batman the Animated Series.

I recently got the Ultimate Batmobile Lego set and saw the black neck piece on Alfred. I thought it would look good on a 1989 Batman, since the neck is attached to the helmet. I'm not entirely sold on it yet, but what do you guys think?
