First Appearance - Legend of the Dark Knight #94 (May 1997)
Saul Fisher, along with severel others, were trapped inside an elevator. The group began telling to stories of Batman, trying to convince Fisher that Batman was real. Fisher was the author of a contriversial book, and assassins were trying to kill him- the reason behind the elevator breaking down.
One of the stories told was from a retired cop who recalled the story (inspired by older batman comics) of a villain named The Bulb, a villain who used light bulb based weapons. The Bulb had captured and left Batman and Robin in a giant lightbulb, intending the heat to kill them. Batman however used his cape to create a batsignal that shone on to the street. The cops found and freed them, and then they defeated The Bulb.
Fisher eventually had his own encounter with Batman when he defeated the assassins and freed the group from the elevator.

The tour opened today and guests will be excited to see items like the Batsuit to the Batmobile in this Ultimate Caped Crusader Exhibit Featuring One-of-A-Kind Props, Vehicles and More!

About the Batman Exhibit, DC Comics’ iconic Super Hero
Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour worked closely with DC Entertainment to create “The Batman Exhibit” and it will be a featured addition on the studio’s historic backlot for a limited time. Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with the original suits worn by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale in their respective portrayals of Batman, making it the first time that artifacts from all seven films have ever been exhibited together. In addition, the exhibit will feature costumes worn by prominent supporting characters and villains, including Robin, The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Batgirl and Alfred. Also on display will be a wide range of props, including Batarangs, Joker cards, Two-Face coins, one of the Penguin’s umbrellas and Bane’s bomb. In conjunction with the Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour, DC Entertainment has also created a historic display of iconic Batman comic book covers that provides a one-of-a-kind, colorful photo backdrop for visitor photos, readymade for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In the studio’s Picture Car Vault, several of the Caped Crusader’s most famous vehicles, including the Batpod, Tumbler and Batmobile, will be exhibited as they were in his lair. Visitors will have the opportunity to activate the Bat-Signal and pose at a Batman-themed interactive green screen photo opportunity.

I'm having this here for discussion on the DC movie universe. This is how I'd have it be after BvS
Batman: Everyone knows how a Batman movie should be. Just combine Tim Burton's one and Nolan's one. It would be great.
Green Lantern: Rather than having just Hal Jordan, have a team of a few Green Lanterns, too. John Stewart, Kilowog, Guy Gardener, and Sinestro who becomes a Yellow Lantern at the end.
The Flash: Dunno what a Flash movie would be like.
Wonder Woman: Make it like Thor, but Greekish and better. And don't focus on feminism and social issues. That would be boring.
Cyborg: Sort of like Iron Man, I guess. That's what I'd want at least.
Aquaman: maybe
In these movies, there will need to be references to Darkseid, a major villain of DC. Martian Manhunter should already be established, too.
Justice League: Martian Manhunter gathers all those heroes and starts Justice League. By then, Bruce Wayne should have already made the space tower thingy. The movie would focus on Darkseid as a villain. And at the end credits scene, the Many Angled Ones from Hitman will appear, planning an invasion on Earth.
Section 8: This movie would be totally secret. It would only be disguised revealed as a Batman movie, but that's all that would be known. It would be released on April 1, when people find out it's Section 8. It would start in Gotham, the Tim Burton Batman music would start to play as you see the Batsignal in the sky. The music would change and the camera would go deep into the city, to the Irish section, then go into Noonan's Sleazy bar, where the logo "Section 8" will appear. After that day, it would then be advertized as Section 8. The movie would have a dark feel and satirize Watchmen a bit. In the end, all but Sixpack (who people think is dead) and Bueno Excellente would survive the Many-Angled Ones.

It is close to midnight. The signal is up in the sky. The police need the Batman.
What happens when the signal is lit is that you wait on the roof. If he shows, you'll turn around and there he'll be standing. You won't see him him coming, or leave. My father used to tell us stories. He has always regarded the Batman highly.
The same can't be said for Ellen Yin. When she first arrived in Gotham, she hunted him relentlessly. It was almost an obsession. She was the law, and he was a vigilante; the enemy of the law. But it's not always so black-and-white, not in this city, and Yin finally realised it.
She will be meeting the Batman tonight. Hopefully she will also hand over my analysis to him. I don't know why I am so excited about this. I guess part of me wants to impress the Batman. I wish I could work with him, like my father did.
I'll be up all night again, listening to the police radio.

This picture is part of an ongoing story. It's a very loose adaptation of a Sherlock Holmes novel (A Study in Scarlet) transposed into the Batman universe.
It's also taken for The Rogue Players, today's theme being picture a Nirvana song. I chose to literally interpret "Come As You Are"; Yin and Batman were once enemies but now she trusts him and needs his help. She lights the signal and asks him to come as a friend (and she isn't armed either).
The picture uses Chicago Skyline at Night - September 3 - 2008 by --Mike-- as its backdrop. Thanks for using the Creative Commons, Mike!

About the Batman Exhibit, DC Comics’ iconic Super Hero
Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour worked closely with DC Entertainment to create “The Batman Exhibit” and it will be a featured addition on the studio’s historic backlot for a limited time. Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with the original suits worn by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale in their respective portrayals of Batman, making it the first time that artifacts from all seven films have ever been exhibited together. In addition, the exhibit will feature costumes worn by prominent supporting characters and villains, including Robin, The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Batgirl and Alfred. Also on display will be a wide range of props, including Batarangs, Joker cards, Two-Face coins, one of the Penguin’s umbrellas and Bane’s bomb. In conjunction with the Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour, DC Entertainment has also created a historic display of iconic Batman comic book covers that provides a one-of-a-kind, colorful photo backdrop for visitor photos, readymade for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In the studio’s Picture Car Vault, several of the Caped Crusader’s most famous vehicles, including the Batpod, Tumbler and Batmobile, will be exhibited as they were in his lair. Visitors will have the opportunity to activate the Bat-Signal and pose at a Batman-themed interactive green screen photo opportunity.
