A scene from the Tim Burton Batman movie, I believe this is the first time we see the Batman properly, it definitely stuck in my mind as a kid and tried to re-created the scene with my action figures! There was no Lego Batman in those days lol
Happy Holidays one and all ; )
Yay ! Finally finished the figure ! It certainly took a lot of time but actually less than I expected...I'm really satisfied with it, I hope you'll like it too :) I'll take more pictures tomorrow and post it then.
Hope you like this teaser picture and tell me what you think about it in the comments :D
Since I was doing artwork for all of the family and many friends for Christmas, I thought it might be fun for the grandkids to get their own piece of art. Knowing how kids are- Wyatt is 8 and Avery is 10- I knew not to expect the kids being so thrilled with a painting from Mimi, but I was wrong! Both of them were totally thrilled that I painted them something, too! What a sweet joy!

Gotham needs Batman. Will Batman come?
Well, it's not easy to explain why this picture (and not the picture I prepared in case something even more bad will happen), but trust me, the choice wasn't random.
Anyway, I hope you heard the news from my country. Oh well... This thing directly puts a lot of people in danger, including some people I knew, and also indirectly - literally everyone.
Mafex Batman version 2. Definitely an improvement over the first. Version 1 suffered extremely loose shoulder joints that easily fell off. This version has that issue thankfully fixed, however mine does have a loose left knee joint.

Hey guys,
Hope you are all doing great, as of 2 weeks now i reached 1,000 followers on Instagram, i'm almost at 600 on Flickr & i've sold over 100 instructions. I honestly have no words, i know it's quite cliché to say that but i mean it.
I've been customizing for over a decade now, waay before i even knew what social media was i loved taking figures and making them more accurate, or create my own figures, i've always been a introverted person, because of that i was really afraid to post my "MOC's & Customs" mainly because of the response i would get, i remember that around the time Age of Ultron was out i checked my Flickr and i saw all these amazing figures by Ross, Dylan, Yale, Hugo and many others and the creativity, detail and passion that they put on each one of their figs, it just inspired me to go out and start posting and start creating.
I will never forget the first few people who followed me, comented on my pictures, faved them... if it weren't for you guys and your support, i doubt i would be here, all the feedback i got i took it to heart (still do) and i tried to improve the most i could.
As i started to become more "known" i started to meet people who were as passionate for the things i loved, we formed a League and that's when i truly started to love what i do. Knowing that more people enjoy doing custom figures and build stuff, that ment a world to me, i was always a weirdo to everyone around me, but i wasn't alone anymore...
It's been 3 years since i returned to this hobby.. well idk if i can call it that anymore, i've learn a lot of stuff since then, i've grown as a customizer but most importantly as a person and it's all thanks to you guys !
I seriously can't thank the almost 1,600 who follow me on social media enough, it's quite heartwarming to know that all of you guys like my content and look forward to it, i hope i can still do this for many years to come !
And i want to thank: Wavy, Hugo, Rodrigo, Jacob, Dylan, Caleb, César, Aaron, Chris, Brickophilia LiLmeFromDaFuture, Red, Jaymes, Luke, Mumu, JSparky, Legowolf, Shane, Señor Brick, Cortes Connor, Liam, Tom, Delta, Sander and many more who have helped me and inspired me on this journey (sorry if i didn't mentioned you).
Mad props if you read all of that !
Also dropped some teasers of stuff i've been working on for the past 8 months, hope you spot them all ! ;)

A child stands in a deserted stairwell in Balboa Park. The park is normally quite populous, but attendance is much lower near the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He is dutifully wearing a mask to protect others as much as himself; his "broken Batsignal" shirt and the slight skew of the stairs accurately capture the anxiety of the moment.
How I made this picture:
glennmeling.blogspot.no/2012/12/the-making-of-batman-son....
The models are my figures:
Hot Toys 1/6 scale figure Batman The Dark Knight Rises.
Hot Toys Cosbaby figure Batman The Dark Knight, Joker The Dark Knight and Bane The Dark Knight Rises.
"Why so serious?"
This MOC is designed in the style of the Architecture skyline series and features the iconic locations from "The Dark Knight" trilogy, including:
- Wayne Manor (from "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight Rises")
- The Narrows (from "Batman Begins")
- Wayne Tower (from "Batman Begins")
- Wayne Tower (from "The Dark Knight")
- The Batsignal
- The Ferries (from "The Dark Knight")
- Gotham City stadium (from "The Dark Knight Rises")
- and a couple tiny hidden Easter Eggs :)
Dimensions: approximately 11.4" x 2.6" x 5.4"
The length of this skyline is exactly the same as the official LEGO skyline sets for London and Paris.

I was riding in the passenger seat southbound on the Dan Ryan when I saw the setting sun framed over the Providence of God Church. The way the lake-effect snow was silhouetted against the sky like dust in a spotlight reminded me of one of my favorite songs by The Hold Steady.
We are the theater, they are the people—dressed up to be seated, lookin’ upwards and dreamin’. We’re the projectors. We’re hosting the screening. We’re dust in the spotlights…we’re just kinda floating.
Man, we make our own movies.
Catching up on all you wonderful people today - if you've commented and haven't heard back ... "hold steady." :)
No lens data in the EXIF - taken with a 16mm f/2.8 Zenitar.
The bat signal as it appears in The Dark Knight Trilogy. And, hey, it can work as the bat signal in any universe really.
Both the silver part and the dark silver part can go 360 degrees around. The silver part is made out of a Lego cauldron. The rest of it are other Lego pieces. The bat is made out of Sculpey. and LED controlled by a switch lights it up.
This was painted by me.
The nightly light show from looking out on Victoria Harbor & Hong Kong island from Kowloon Peninsula.
After several months of procrastination, it's finally done! This was one of the most annoying, complicated, and fun sets I ever made. I freakin' loved it. It includes 11 figures, two vehicles, and one batsignal.
Just a classic Batman shot. I'm pleased with the way the Bat-Signal turned out. Thanks to my brother KnightOwl Photography for letting me borrow his Batman torso! Hope you enjoyed!

Drury- What’d you mean she’s gone into labour?!
Tiger Shark- I mean she’s become the fairy queen of Paradise Island. What else could I mean?! Just get your ass down here!
Drury- My taxi left me!
Tiger Shark- A taxi? Wow. You need to Über that shit, Walker
Drury- Why? I’m not a sheep.
Tiger Shark- No, you’re an ass! Think of something. Fast!
Drury- Not to worry. I have an idea...
—————————
Drury- Thanks for the lift, Bats.
Batman- The Batsignal is meant for emergencies.
Drury- My wife’s giving birth! Surely that’s an emergency?
Batman- Hmm.
Drury- Y’know I’ve never been in the Batwing before? Been in the Batmobile a bunch though.
Batman- Walker-
Drury- I’ve got to evict The Moth right? I don’t want to but he’s left me little choice. Leaving cocoons and skin all over the place...
Batman- This marriage of yours-
Drury- Oh, right! You remember Tiger Moth right? We met an unspecified amount of time ago. Back when El Macho broke your back. I take it you remember that? Of course you do. Len, The Eraser, gave out free drinks. He’s a bartender now. We started dating shortly after and she’s been welcomed into my crew. Her pop, Gaige, really likes me, shot me in the crotch, though I’m sure that’s how he shows love.
Batman- And this Carson? The man in the cocoon
Drury- Aaah. Ted Carson. I ran him over. He died and I stuffed his body in the Arkham gardens
Batman- That was you?
Drury- Then he came back, Bummer. Captured the two of us. And Gar. Firefly. You know Firefly. Fortunately he picked up my old cocoon gun and encased himself in gooey foam. Thought that was the last of him.
Batman- Came back? He cheated death?
Drury- It’s Gotham Bats, everyone cheats death. I did it. You did it. Robin did it. He crashed our wedding, with Zodiac Master’s help. I reckon that’s a name you’ve not heard in some time. And the Joker shot him.
Batman- You invited the Joker to your wedding?
Drury- I invited you too! You didn’t show! You’re inviting me to your wedding though right?
Batman- What are you talking about?
Drury- Don’t lie. Hush told me. You and Selina. Always liked you two. Anyway, thought that was the last of Ted, I mean, Gaige skinned him to make a coat, that put a dampener on the honeymoon. And then several months ago he came back. Somehow. He was that ape in Pyg’s circus. I thought he’d killed him. Again, that is.
Batman- What the-
Drury- Just drop me off here man. Cheers!
Batman- What are you? Just... what are you?
