Look close and you can see former LS&I RSD-12 No. 1804 (sans prime mover that was used in a tug) and also C&NW's coaling tower dating back to when their main engine facility was along the waterfront. I uploaded a larger size file so you can see more details.
I do so love linen, in all kinds.

At its most basic level, time is often understood as a linear progression of events, moving from the past through the present and into the future. We measure time using various units such as seconds, minutes, hours, days, and so on. This measurement of time allows us to organize our lives, plan our activities, and make sense of the world around us.
However, as we delve deeper into the nature of time, we encounter intriguing questions and challenges. One of the key questions is whether time is an objective reality or merely a subjective experience. Is time an inherent property of the universe, or is it a construct of human consciousness?

The corner altogether stands 3 hits, the small wall in the back can take only 1.
All the decorative tiles aside, these cover pieces are built with just basic bricks and plates.
I decided to make a ww1 Saint chamond tank, this one in particular is based on the very early versions of the tank with the flat roof.
even though I picked a more basic variant shape wize, i decided to go extra fancy with the camouflage.

So here's a compilation of the latest basic looks of some of our MH ghouls. Do you think they look better like this or do you prefer their debut "basic" looks they use everyday? I prefer they keep updating them, it's fun to see the different looks they can pull off to go to school. I wish they could use this looks more often honestly.
Normally I like to let an image evolve over a week or so. "Start it on the Monday, post it on the Sunday" has become my usual routine. This process could consist of minutes per day or possibly hours depending on what I'm working on. I have absolutely no doubt that applying fresh eyes to my image on numerous occasions throughout the week allows me to take it far beyond what I could ever achieve in one sitting.
It also ensures I get regular darkroom practice which can't ever be a bad thing. I suspect it like a musical instrument, one session per week yields relatively slow progress but having a wee play every day sees you sprinting down the road at a much faster pace.
A discussion I always have during presentations... once you fully understand your camera, it is then practically impossible to continuously improve through that camera alone. Your photography at this point becomes more reliant on opportunity than skill. The darkroom however is one of the few tools which actually allow ongoing improvement, ongoing forever and ever and ever and ever. This is why I place so much emphasis on regular darkroom practice regardless of how my image actually turns out in the end.
Saying that... I've had an extremely busy week this week with no real time for processing, so I've opted for a much easier shot. Nothing more than good basic camera technique followed by a quick white balance change with some dodging/burning on top. There is no real skill to this image, all the beauty comes from Mother Nature showing off, something she is absolutely incredible at when she puts her mind to it.

An intuitive solution for all the 1-bit strings followed by 2-bit strings, etc. For 16 bits. Essentially the same as the "Chord Catalogue" solution, but every section is upside down and backwards (i.e., enumerated in reverse and opposite endianness).
