Rebecca Barker (far right), a BSN student at the Universities at Shady Grove, poses with her final poster project, presented last summer at the Student Nurse Residency Poster Presentation at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Situated on Galena Creek in the Little Belt Mountains of Judith Basin County, silver was first found by two different men in the fall of 1879. Near their finds, separate mining camps grew up including Barker, named for E.A. "Buck" Barker and his Barker Mine near Galena Creek; and Hughesville, situated just two miles down the mountainside from Barker and named for Patrick Hughes who filed the Grey Eagle claim.

we didn't make it to Hughsville ( the one I wanted to see the most)..we had the car & couldn't make it ..but next year we will :)

Lisa Barker, senior hydropower plant operator at Old Hickory Dam in Hendersonville, Tenn., was named a Modern Day Technology All Star by the Career Communications Group. Lt. Col. Cullen Jones, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District commander, recognized her during a visit to the Old Hickory Dam Power Plant July 26, 2017. As a senior plant operator, she has a critical responsibility of controlling three of the district's nine hydroelectric power plants, which provide sustainable and clean energy to the area. Her success is a great example of the STEM career opportunities in USACE across the nation.

Today was my first underwater shoot!

i didn't have much time to take a 365, so this will

have to do!

I had soo much fun doing this shoot.

We had the pool to ourselves!

It was hard to get situated and comfortable

with being underwater.

haha i was scared to put my camera in the water too, even though its a waterproof one!

It just wasnt normal!

Anyway ANOTHER PHOTOSHOOT TOMORROW!

Super excited! : ]

There is debate about what this thing is.... pretty sure it's either:

- mine air shaft

- spring house of some sort

- david the gnome's house

- something else

This is a great place to get hit by a truck. I wouldn't recommend it. haha.

EDIT: This is GONE. It looks like it was ripped out by a bulldozer. :(

Hi everyone! My name is Bob Barker. I am the cutest little guy. I love belly rubs and being petted. I am only 1 year old. I have a friendly, fun and loving personality. I love to play with toys and with other dogs. I run and chase, fetch and wrestle. It's a blast. I'm always smiling with tail wagging. I am a cuddler too. I'm just a happy little guy, looking for a lifelong, loving home. Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance and microchip.

I live at the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center at 1700 Brown Rd in Auburn Hills. You can visit me there any time the shelter is open. The shelter will not put me up for adoption because of my appearance, so my only way out of the shelter alive is through a rescue.
