... and thanks a lot for your views, faves and comments! :-)
BNSF 5374 and company give their dynamic brakes a good workout as they head down the backside or east slope depending on how you look at it of Cajon Pass, with a camouflaged Union Pacific military train heading for West Yermo. The train out of Fort Bliss Texas had a pretty quick run up Cajon Pass going from Slover (Palmdale Cutoff starting point) to Summit in under 90 minutes which for a Union Pacific train is in the top percentile for making the grade over the Santa Fe. Once at Yermo the train will be emptied at sent out somewhere else for another load of equipment to be stored out in the dry deserts of California for the winter time.

Horn Castle is one of the oldest, still intact circular castles in the Netherlands. The castle probably dates from the 10th or 11th century and was originally in the hands of robber knights who obtained income by levying tolls on traffic on the busy Meuse river. The oldest mentioned ruler of the area around the village of Horn is Engelbert van Horn, son of Dirk van Horn. The castle is first mentioned in a letter from 1243.

A Tricolored Heron in breeding plumage employs the same shadow casting technique displayed by the previously posted Snowy Egret in the same marshy area off Horsepen Bayou.
Flowers of the cannonball tree (Couroupita guianensis) exhibit similar morphology to other Lecythidaceae family members.
So gesehen in Großsedlitz.
Watching the Eastern Grey Wallabies hop by whilst going for a walk in the local bushland.
My friend and I walk there fairly regularly. My friend is one of a few that would allow me to take her backside view :))
