Eh. I'm not that much in love with this, but it's okay.
Choose Your background (Berlin part)
An on-going performance/photo shoot/ intervention in public space, performed
in Berlin,
on 2nd and 3rd of Oct 2007 (German Reunification Day).
Using large canvas backdrops painted in black & white each sized 150x240 cm,
Spectators were being asked to chose to stand in front of one the Backdrops:
Brandenburg Gate and Azadi (freedom) Tower in Tehran.
Amirali Ghasemi
Trying out different background ideas.
This is for a quilted version of an inspiring photo by Alan Levine.
I followed the subject so the background would blur and the car would be sharp. The the spray from the tires also blurred.
This was the longest I could get the shutter to stay open for. To make it the longest, I choose the dark pine trees as a background, set ISO to 125 and maximized the exposure compensation. Fireworks mode just made a solid white photo.
